The number of F-16's in the USAF are slowly being reduced as the F-35 comes into play. This year the AZ ANG has being losing F-16's for AMARG.

General Dynamics F-16C Fighting Falcon of the 445th Flight Test Squadron (445 FTS) from Edwards AFB flying at low level through Rainbow Canyon in California's Death Valley National Park. This canyon (also known as Star Wars Canyon) is part of the JEDI Transition linking sections of the Sidewinder Low Level Route in the US military R-2508 Complex.
