Outerbridge Park in Saanich is a hidden gem. We drive by the park almost daily, and I had been meaning to stop for quite some time. I'm happy I finally did, for it is a hidden gem in Saanich. The property was owned by Mrs. Outerbridge from the late 80s to 2005. She spent these years creating gardens, ponds and landscape features to create an oasis for wildlife, particularly birds. For a number of years the property was known locally as the 'Shangri-La Bird and Nature Sanctuary' and was open to the public. In 2005 The District of Saanich took over the park and now partners with the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific for the ongoing operation of the park, and much work has been done since acquiring the property.
Thank you for looking. I’m also on:
Hidden Gem
I highly doubt I would have ever found this gem without a tip. Cody told me "turn on the road just before skinny dip rd" I knew where he meant even though I have never heard it called that
I couldn't have asked for better conditions to shoot this place than I had today.

Little Gem LX06DZG, a 2006 Volvo B7TL Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini 1, was seen in Piccadilly Gardens, whilst operating a service 44 to Manchester Piccadilly. New to Go Ahead London Metrobus as their WVL224.
Little Gem collapsed due to rising fuel costs, and the cost of living crisis outweighing the cost of continuing to trade. It was announced on Friday 21st April 2023 as 17:00pm that Little Gem would cease trading.

I feel that the tulips look much like an old time orchestra jazz band playing. As they all have their rows to play in.
Very photoshopped image. In fact the unphotoshoped image was a bit out of focus. I was going to pass on it. When I tried the paint filters. I thought To my delight it looked very nice. So I kept working it.

We had considered a swim here before we set off on the hike. As you can see such an option was out of the question.
Gem Lake is the highest of the three lakes that the trail follows on its route up past Baker Point. At this point we are 1'800 feet below the summit of Trapper Peak.
The Gem-class submarine is the mainstay of the Achtfaden submarine fleet, entering service in the late to mid-thirties. Following their Air Force colleagues, many crews have adorned their submarine with art, ranging from subdued ones like on Sapphire, to some slightly racier ones, like on Topaz
A remodel of my Leviathan-class submarine, which in turn is based on one of Matt’s submarines.
Spring Latemar mountain view from the gem-like Karersee.
This shot took me a long waiting time. Waiting for clouds to be dyed with the sunlight; waiting for the mountain and trees to get a kiss of the setting sun; waiting for the wind to stop so the lake surface could calm down. It’s all about waiting! Until everything just met perfectly, for the blink of an eye.
