I felt bad that I didn't have enough nice wrapping paper for Emily's present, so I gussied up the inside-out brown paper bag I'd used to wrap her gift with the Blackhawk logo. Emily's response, upon seeing it under my tree the other night? "Hawkaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

 

That was pretty awesome.

Setting the schedule involves anyone coming up and announcing a topic,

a lovely little kid coming down the steps with her mom, watching the skater

Dad left his Tone lying around, unopened.

I always seem to take pictures of the people in the trees. Evidence of evolution, perhaps?

Two possibilities here: Either geeks are getting more militant in their expressions or graffitti artists are getting more geeky in their styles.

 

This was taken on the wall of the Frikin Crane, a theatre on Shandon Street. It's kind of appropriate that they chose this wall. The Firkin Crane is all about expression in an alternative style. Their theatre pieces are usually very modern and abstract.

MIT Flea glassware. No idea what this thing is actually for, but the guy who had them was selling them - successfully - as bongs.

A clock powered by the differences in barometric pressure. This one is owned by a friend of mine and was made in 1947. Fantastic.
