And I am a geek, for sure!

I shot this using my SB800 and SB30 with my Nikn D70s and Nikoor 50mm 1,8 lens. And again my son Akash pressed the remote. And a lot of processing as you can see.

My long-awaited podcast, Inside the Lens, has now officially launched! With four episodes currently available to listen to, get ready for a geeky and science-oriented photography podcast: www.insidethelens.com/

Subscribe to the podcast on iTunes and get a new episode every other week! Topics include infrared photography, images with electrons, colour science and so much more – with many great episodes coming soon! If you’ve already discovered the podcast, I’d love it if you could rate it on iTunes so that more people can discover it. The more people listen, the more I’m able to create the best possible content moving forward.

I’m proud to say that this podcast is part of the This Week in Photo (TWiP) Network, and I’m very thankful for the opportunities they’ve provided me and other photography podcast hosts. The network has grown considerably in recent years and there are exceptional podcasts under the same umbrella. If you haven’t listened to them, now’s the chance to kick your photographic knowledge into high gear!

Thanks to everyone who has supported and encouraged my photographic efforts. Without an audience I wouldn’t be able to do this professionally and there would be no way to accomplish any of the projects I have before me. For everyone who reads my posts with interest, you’ll enjoy listening to Inside the Lens!

This Geeks on Wheels Bedford CF van can be seen in various places in Wellington serving as an advertisement for the company's computer fixing business. The overall effect does a good job of mimicking the A-team's Chevrolet van from the 70s TV series. The styling for the CF was heavily influenced by contemporary US practice.

Stunningly enough, this is me as my extremely geek infested self.

They were giving our cards for their local modeling service. I expect the nudity was an excellent draw at Dragoncon.

Blue is a geek and he has all the latest tech things. Green has also asked him to repair is laptop which is... broken? has a virus? It's not clear.

Blue also doesn't have the time to eat normally, so he eats while he does his... things... at the computer.

(I realized during this shot that I have 6 computers)

The cat on the fan is a reference to my dear cat Cipì which used to jump on our kitchen fan and look around like she was on a merry-go-round. ♥

You can get your own from @Geekyclean. This is only a tiny part of the awesome things she makes.

we're here with nerds & geeks.

We don't need books anymore for our nerdy resources, but once these were useful references.
