I finally organised all the electronic components I had laying around in various places. Maybe now I can actually build something.
Davey The Geeky monkey likes nothing more than hanging out with his virtual friends on his Mac. Would you like to be his virtual friend too? I wonder what is in his bag? There is only one way to find out go and check out my Etsy store* this weekend.
*check my profile for the link.
this is the box where I placed the GPS antenna for making some tests during the last week. I ended up posting bills to the people passing by the complex. Its fun to see people reading the notes. In the end I made a contest for my birthday. It took less than 30min to get a winner
I think this probably defines me. :) Although, I was never a cheerleader and I always had bad hair.

El de Nacho se llama Mr. Squishy, pero dado que estaba jugando Panzer Generals, y que era el principal advisor de Nacho, por estos momentos fue titulado General Squishy.
Two of my hydra, right before tentacle removal. Under scope, 16x.
Threads under hydra are actually slices in the (old) sylgard in the dish.
One of the Valentine's I made for the Domestic Scientist. This is the inside. The front is here.
We had dressed up as pirates and wenches for a group outing to see the Boston premiere of "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl". Afterward, we all marauded around the Boston Common. Yarrrrrr!!!

A T-shirt given away to the first 10 people who bought the first edition of the Perl 5 manual at the University of Washington bookstore, back in 1996.
Ursula, my desktop machine running the Ubuntu OS (Karmic Koala at the moment, soon to be Lucid Lynx) does enjoy her geeky toys. Shown running on one of her desktops today are: Twidge, a CLI Twitter client; and the BOINC Manager running SETI@home, listening for aliens from outer space. Ursula and I both know those aliens are out there, chatting amongst themselves. And we want to hear what they're saying, dammit!
To make matters worse, I pretty much bought it because the interface for the Panic online shop impressed me so much. Gah.

Now I just need to find ribbon to replace the shoelaces temporarily... don't think that'll be too hard to do.
Tom Wright took this photo, I have edited the colours slightly (saturation) and added a hint of film grain onto the picture.

Book a photoshoot :D
