While in South Korea, attending the South Korea Start Up Tech Show, I sat down with the president of CWIP, JungHan Baek. We talked about the startup scene in Changwon, why they started KSTS, and some stories on successful companies in Korea.
Baek talks about how this group cultivates start up life in South Korea, and works with many to bring new ideas to the forefront.
One example is Edenlux – the makers of OTUS. I’ve done an unboxing of the OTUS Vision Goggles, and we talked about the plans for this company, and future endeavors.
Changwon is a beautiful city, and a great place for startups to cultivate their ideas. It’s a 3 hour ride into Seoul, and cost of living is fairly low.
