Spoiler looks at Robin going away, leaving her in the basement with her father. Behind her, a shadow appears.

BM: "I understand why you did it."

Splr: "Holy shit! You scared the hell out of me. Wait... you're Batman."

BM: "Yes I am."

Splr: "Listen, I didn't mean to-!"

BM: "I know you've been watching me and Robin for a while now. Studying our fightingskills and applying them to yourself."

Splr: "You know I've been watching you? How?"

BM: "Because I have been watching you."

Splr: "You have?"

BM: "You have the morivation to be a crimefighter, you have the will to learn, and you can fight. Your skills might not be the best, but that can be taught."

Splr: "What are you saying?"

BM: "I want to train you. You're motivation to take down Cluemaster was very high. Personal or not, you managed to take him out, and even went that far into manipulating Robin to come with you."

Splr: "You're not mad about that?"

BM: "I might seem scary, but I can be reasonable."

Splr: "Please don't be mad at Robin either."

BM: "I'm not. He figured out your secret identity on his own. Pretty impressive for him being this young."

Splr: "Don't you think he's going to be mad when he discovers that you are going to train me?"

BM: "I determine who I'm going to train and who not. So I suppose you're taking my offer?"

Splr: "Could you maybe give me the time to think about that? It's a pretty big offer you know."

BM: "I know, but understand, I don't just hand these offers out to every hero I see."

Splr: "I understand."

BM: "The offer will stay open though, for as long as you need."

Splr: "Thanks, eeehm. Didn't caught your name yet."

BM: "Nice try... Stephanie."

Splr: "So everyone knows it now, hm?"

BM: "Only the trustworthy ones."

Splr: "So how can I contact you when I've decided?"

BM: "Go to the GCPD, and ask for Gordon. He'll shine a light for you in the right direction."

Splr: "Alright. Thank you, Batman."

BM: "No worries. Now if you excuse me, I have something to look out for."

Splr: "The Joker, right? If there's anything I can do."

BM: "Go home, Stephanie. Your mom might be worried."

Splr: "Uhm, yeah, I guess you're right. Good luck finding him."

BM: "Thank you, get home safe."

Splr: "I will."

So here's an update on things

1. I am currently in San Diego for Christmas, and I'm really busy. So there will be a shortage of pictures.

2. Sinse I am in San Diego, I am going to The Art of the Brick exhibit, and maybe Legoland. So you guys will see some of that.

3. I'll be back on the 28th, and 1 week later I have finals, so expect another shortage of pictures.

4. OK here is the big announcment. Loeb is going to be COMMISSIONER, NOT LIEUTENANT. Gordon will be lieutenant instead of commissioner. This is a pretty big change to the story, that's why I'm doing this early in the series

5. Also no GCPD again this week because of vacation.

...So yeah, hopefully things will start being normal again around the 20th of January, so bear with me guys.

Thanks for all the support

*SPOILER*

Mind control (glowing yellow eyes)...

So first, ill probably be doing one of these things a month to just give you guys a monthly update on a things, pictures like this if its more "personal" and something else if it'ts just "business".

So my personal life over the past month has honestly been pretty terrible. Band camp started, school started, and honestly it's been hell. Though one thing that probably has ripped me apart is one person, a girl. I mentioned previously about in my first update that there was this girl that i really liked and really wanted to go out with her. My plan was to ask her out at the homecoming dance and I thought it would be an easy plan. Well that entire plan was completely (I mean every part of it) blown away because one of my best friends wanted the same exact thing, and so he asked her out, she said yes, and now they're dating. And the main problem is that its not one of those "the Girl (that the main guy likes)has a boyfriend who is an asshole" from the overused cliche, i've known him for years and hes just an awesome person, i would say that hes just a better person than me. So now when i ever talk to her and she mentions his name, it just makes me hate myself and really depressed. So yeah...that sucks...a lot.

But with that out of the way, how bout some updates on Lego stuff.

1: So its been an absolute pain to register for a brickly artist, and they still havent responded to the rest of my e-mails regarding how they're going to send me a temporally password so yeah. And ill have a big post when (hopefully) that gets resolved.

2. Havent touched GCPD at all...sorry, though i really do want to finish it.

3. For those who follow my instagram, you saw that i finally bought my first ninjago sets after over 6 years! I remember when it first started and never realizing that it would take off this far, so yeah.

4.I still have not started my build for the wayne manor section on top of my batcave, though i am planning on starting in the next 2 months ish.

5. Have a new idea called "Retro Movie Figs" where every week i post a figure or two from a classic film franchise or movie, ill start off with well known ones and work my way towards very obscure ones.

That's it, hope you guys have an awesome day, and if you have any suggestions of any figs i should do, please let me know.

Thanks guys for the unending support.

Ya this is why I got all those cops. First one to to guess who the front three cops are wins.

'Gotham stands on the edge of the cliff. Though you'll never hear about it in the news, tensions are escalating in the underworld. Sure things great if you care to look up. Bat in the sky watching over us. Wayne Tower shining brightly for all the world to see. But look down, and it's a different story entirely. Gangs at each other's throats. Suspicious death after suspicious death. It's only a matter of time before it erupts. The only question is who's going to be the one to set it all in motion?'

(Left to right)

Diego Escabedo - The head of the Escabedo cartel, and the most recent addition to the Gotham underworld. Diego's often found himself forced to embrace a volatile behaviour pattern in order to draw attention to himself. Not from the GCPD. But from his rivals. Everyone thinks twice before crossing a psychopath after all.

Primarily focused on the smuggling of illegal narcotics into Gotham, Diego has often found himself in direct competition with Warren White for control of the illegal narcotics market. Despite a quickly earned and fearsome reputation, Diego is also known to make donations to members of the Gotham City council on occasion. It's widely speculated that he's one of the main causes for Gotham City's tough stance on drug use.

Alexandra Kosov- For thirty years the Odessa Mob has operated in Gotham City with relative obscurity, in part because they've always been content with the money earned from private protection. But since Vasily Kosov's death two years ago, his daughter Alexanda has decided to expand her father's operations. Whilst continuing to offer protection services to any one who can afford it, the Odessa mob has slowly been trying to make a dent into the Penguin's territory by offering military grade weaponry.

Often, the weaponry being sold by the Odessa mob, is stolen from Penguin's own warehouse. Much to his anger. Though no-one dares to say it in front of her, there are whispers that Alexandra only seeks to undermine Penguin's business interests for his role in her father's death. Officially, he was a killed in a shootout with the GCPD. But what's missing from the post mortem is that before he met his end, Kosov's body was found to contain one of Jervis Tetch's first attempts into chemistry.

Oswald Cobblepot - Perhaps the worst kept secret in all of Gotham is the face behind the name 'Penguin'. Despite his best attempts to undermine the Wayne family name by using his position on the company board to procure Waynetech prototypes, Oswald soon found himself at the centre of a scandal when six former Gotham hitmen identified them as their supplier. Unlike most though, Oswald was able to use the little of his family inheritance to have the charges pardoned.

The six who testified against him were found a week later with their vocal chords ripped from their throats. Since then, no-one's ever been brave enough to testify against the Penguin. Knowing full well that he was under observation from both the GCPD and Batman, Cobblepot ended up investing in a run down property he inherited on the passing of his father and created the Iceberg lounge.

No-one doubts that it's merely a front of Cobblepot to launder the money he makes from smuggling arms into Gotham, but when there's always an off duty cop in the club to tip Cobblepot off, it's all but impossible to successfully move against.

Batman has been known to frequent the Iceberg lounge on occasion. Both for information, and to make a mockery of Cobblepot in front of his underlings.

Warren White - Known by the name of Great White Shark following an altercation with Dr. Victor Fries, Warren White was severely disfigured and hospitalised for months. Slowly but surely he abandoned all hope of corrective surgery to fix his injuries, and ended up going in the opposite direction. Rather than try to make himself look normal, White instead had his skin tone modified, and his teeth filed all to mimic the look of a shark.

At the start, no-one took him seriously. Until he was able to take a chunk out of Black Mask's right hand man. It's claimed that act alone was enough to convince Sionis to bring him into his gang's ranks. Following the death of Black Mask at the hands of the Red Hood and his gang of Outlaws, Warren found himself stepping into Sionis' shoes, claiming the group as his own. Often, when a new crime lord arises they make an act of aggression against one of their main competitors as a show of force. White chose to simply pay a visit to the Iceberg Lounge where he struck a deal with Cobblepot.

So long as Oswald stayed out of the drug trade, Warren would avoid any arms trade. This surprisingly peace transfer for power caught many by surprise, especially the GCPD and Batman who both expected a loud declaration of his intentions. Despite this supposed civilised approach to crime, Warren is known to be more than willing to feast on his competitors to send a clear. Many speculate that Emmanuel Escabedo, Diego Escabedo's brother, was simply one of the latest victims of this policy.

Following an encounter with the masked assailant known as the Crimson Knight, White has gone to ground. Most claim that it's out of fear. Whilst others claim he's amassing an army to wage war against the other crime lords, and merely waiting for the Crimson Knight to take out his main obstacle.

The Batman.

I built this Gotham Police Department for Blocks Magazine to showcase these custom minifigs from United Bricks. While as usual I wanted to build something much smaller, the scope of the building I was trying to capture necessitated a much bigger build. This is the largest interior space I've built, half again as big as my steampunk laboratory. This one also required some specific details, like the Selectric typewriters.

Last post flopped so...

Captain Cold: Freed up the GCPD officer legs that I had on Deathstroke (who may be getting his own post/family portrait) so I made good old Snart a dark blue outfit.

Mr Toxic: Wanted some gold details here and there. Preferably I'd like to find my Killmonger Golden Black Panther head to use on him but this'll work for now.

Corrosive Man: TBH A purist version is kinda hard to do as the Dr. Phosphorus pieces are the most accurate but it would wind up looking just like the Doctor so I went with a Non comic based look.

Parasite: I love this head on Parry and I prefer the comic design compared to my own hazmat look so I just out a white helmet on him to cover up the translucent part of the head.

Sinestro: His blue look and wanted to make short sleeves. Couldn't find the right color pink so he just has gloves for now.

Brother Blood: TT Inspired but with a more comic looking head.

Enjoy!

So couple of things

1. I'll be using this filter for a nice mysterious look.

2. Added some new people to the cast (try to figure them out :)

and 3. School has been a pain for the past week (I have been barely able to put up 2 photos a day) but I am doing some research on the GCPD graphic novel. Hopefully I will finsh it in time.

Stepping out of the dimension stream, what I see is something that both fills me with joy, and disheartens me. Wayne Tower.

Gotham. Again. And in the recent past, too.

I miss Dana’s face already… Why can’t I ever be brought to somewhere more exciting? Like an alternate version of Neo-Gotham. Or Metropolis. Or another planet.

Or the future! The future would be so schway. But then again. No time like the present.

“A.L.F.R.E.D, which universe are we in?”

Earth 117, Sir. The immediate surroundings appear to be unchanged from the past version of our home universe. More data will need to be collected from the Batcomputer here. It is currently 1:18am, and we are due for snow in the coming days. Despite a distinct lack of crime, life signs are present inside, yet aren’t detected in any street, meaning-

“Meaning that everyone is scared of going outside anyway… Eerie.”

I pass a wall with an image of Bane spray-painted on it.

Someone’s a big fan of the guy.

I turn around, and on the wall directly opposite are the words:

“The Bat lives”.

That’s a good sign. Especially since Wayne Enterprises is still standing, given that it’s currently towering over the city ahead. I guess it’s time to find out what’s up with the Bruce here. I start to move through the streets, slowly.

A glare from a rooftop light is reflected off something moving above. This city is far too empty and quiet for my liking. Even for night time.

I catch a glimpse of another shadow shift atop the roofs. Someone is watching me.

I dart around the street corner to avoid their line of sight.

Without warning, I’m blinded by searchlights. And a small handful of officers comes out, guns aimed at me.

Slag! It’s the GCPD!

How could A.L.F.R.E.D not detect these guys, a few blocks away?

A voice echoes through the street over a loudspeaker:

“BATMAN, THIS IS THE POLICE, WE HAVE YOU SURROUNDED. PUT YOUR HANDS UP AND GET ON YOUR KNEES, NICE AND EASY.

Suddenly a flurry of red dots covers my head, legs, and chest. Snipers. Slag it! I should’ve gone civilian. An officer walks towards me slowly, and brandishes a pair of handcuffs.

“You’ve got a lot to answer for, for all those murders. All those people you’ve killed.”

“Listen buddy, I have no idea what you’re on about so-“

He punches me, without remorse.

“No wonder all your friends left you. You’re an insult to the Batman name.”

“You’ve just made a big mistake.”

I’m not going down without a fight. I activate my stealth, going indivisible, and instantly roll to the other corner of the street, ploughing over the GCPD officer, and leaving behind a slew of bullets in response to my disappearance. The officer who punched me calls for a ceasefire, while everyone else is ordered to search the area. A baby starts to cry in the distance, in response to the gunfire.

What on earth happened here.

A searchlight casts my shadow on a wall, and the officers quickly get back on my tail.

“There he is! Fire!”

I barely dodge, as a bullet whirrs past the ears of my suit.

Any lower, and I would’ve had quite the headache.

Well, this is no fun.

I’ve run out of places to go. I’m pinned at the end of a run down, crumbling alley, with no escape, and the searchlights and voices getting increasingly closer. A whisper comes my way:

“Psst! You! With the long ears! In here!”

Without hesitation I follow the voice which came through the cracks in the walls, past the bricks, and into the long, winding tunnels of a sewer. The caped silhouette guides me from the system, to the Gotham catacombs, then goes to speak again.

It’s a young kid’s voice. Couple of years younger than me. I swear I recognise it.

“I don’t know why you’re running around, dressed up as Batman. But it’s real dangerous to be doing that these days.”

“Tim?!”

He stops leading me, and looks back. He’s young. A lot younger than when I last saw him. Or a version of him. He takes off his mask, revealing his face.

“How do you know me?”

“It’s a long story.”

Tim looks at me with the coldest stare. He’s right to. He deserves an explanation.

“My name is Terry. We’ve met before. But in different circumstances. A different time. A different universe… Where I’m from… I’m… Bruce’s son. I’m the Batman of the Future.”

“Batman… of the future.”

I take off my mask in return, instantly he’s taken aback.

“Holy shit. You look just like him, but… younger.”

“You’re one to talk about being young.”

“What’s that meant to mean?”

“I’ve run into versions of you a few times. Older. But never this young.”

“Stop. Let’s back up. What exactly are you doing? Don’t you know how dangerous it is here? Why this time and place?”

“Tim… where I come from… and lots of other places… Bruce is dead. Or gone. I'm trying to find him.

But, he’s here right? The graffiti out there said ‘The Bat Lives”

“I… How long ago did you get here? Do you even know what’s going on?

“I just arrived. Why. What has happened.”

“Bruce… died.”

I’m left speechless. No matter how many times I hear this news, it always hits me hard. To know that my father has died. Not once. But many times. Throughout countless universes. And every time, it’s something new. We continue to traverse the sewer, and he begins to inform me about the events of this universe.

“Recently. There’s been a series of events set up to exhaust myself and Bruce.

Well. More Bruce than me. These events were some attempt to break the Bat.

And it worked.

Arkham was blown up. All the criminals running around. And then all these… mini boss type guys. Bruce had to undergo so many trials. And then just when he was at his weakest.

He killed him.”

I’d heard about the Arkham events, from Bruce’s case files. It honestly astounds me how he managed to soldier through. But it all ended with his back broken.

I’d even met him in my time, nothing but a shell of the beast he once was.

And since then his name had never left my lips, nor had he ever crossed my mind, until I got here.

“Bane. Bane did this.”

“Yeah…”

“Where… where I come from. He only broke Bruce’s back.”

“Yeah… he did that too.”

Of all the universes to come to. I never thought this would happen. Bane was always one for honour and tradition. But no. Instead Bruce dies again for some unknown reason in this stupid grand scheme of things.

“So… this… This is just one of many universes where Bruce is dead? I’m so sorry... I’ve failed him here too… and the murders?”

“We’ll get there soon enough. Through here.”

We reach the end of the sewer line, to a gate, with a small panel to the right. Tim touches it, and the gate swings open. I guess this solves one of my problems.

We’re going to the Batcave.

Dick is already there, standing in the middle of the cave, in full Nightwing gear. He turns to see us, startled by our sudden unexpected presence and assumes stance, ready to fight. Then he looks at my face, and like Tim, steps back.

“Bruce?!”

“I-… not quite”

We explain to him the events leading up to this, and he continues the story.

“Terry. It’s not safe here. Not for any of us. Robin… I mean Tim has been through a lot, just trying to keep ‘him’ grounded. But he’s unhinged.”

“Who? Who’s unhinged?”

“The man who replaced Bruce. His way of doing things isn’t what Gotham needs. He isn’t what Gotham needs. But someone had to take down Bane. He… he was flaunting Bruce’s body across the streets. And. While we don’t agree with his actions. He did what he had to do.”

Tim chimes in:

“But it didn’t stop there. Because Bane let out Arkham’s inmates again. Gotham was being ruled by the criminal elite for a while. And he took it upon himself to capture them all.”

To which Dick retorts:

“Which he didn’t. He killed them all, instead of bringing them in.

And he throws the corpses back into their cells.

Turning Arkham into one big stinking cemetery, with only one living inhabitant.

The man who now calls himself ‘Batman’.”

I’ve had enough of them avoiding the elephant in the room. So I ask them.

“Who is this man?”

“Azrael.”

I should’ve known. He was in the files too. But, he’s all but forgotten in the present I live in. I heard he had some sort of god complex to him. Or ‘Bat complex.’ That explains the whole ‘The Bat lives” thing.

Tim looks up at me.

“But, it’s all going to be fixed, right? You can help us now, the Batman of the Future.

Do it. Fight with us. Take him down.

You’re the Batman we need. Gotham needs hope again. We need-“

A noise startles all of us. Both Tim and Dick instantly look panicked. Tim keeps his voice down low:

“He’s here.”

Dick looks me dead in the eye.

“You’ve got to leave. Now. Otherwise, he’ll kill you.”

“Why would he kill me?”

“Because now the one true Batman has arrived.”

A voice echoes throughout the cave:

“I am the one true Batman.”

Immediately a Batmobile flares up to life. And begins to motor towards us, in the middle of the cave.

We barely dodge it as it speeds through the turnstile and into Gotham.

Dick is quick to spring into action, attaches his escrima sticks to his bike, hops on, and starts up. He looks back at us.

“This is our chance.

This city has had enough of his rule.

He’s going down tonight. With or without you, Terry.”

And with that, he speeds off, in pursuit. Leaving us in the dirt.

If Azrael is as dangerous as the they say, Dick is going to need support as soon as possible.

“Tim, are there any more functioning Batmobiles?”

“Azrael took almost everything from the cave when he began his war. Or rather we kicked him out, and he stole them.

That was the last one. I can take my Redbird, but if you’re to follow it’ll be on foot.”

“No. I’ve got something better.”

I grin at him, expand my wings, and activate my boosters.

There’s no question of what happens next. Tim and I rocket out of the cave, hoping to catch up to the inevitable conflict.

Our chase hits a dead end, as we lose sight of Dick.

With no Oracle, and a deceased Alfred in this universe, we have to improvise. Though it’s a no brainer where Azrael would take the Batmobile, where everything he has is.

His safe house at Arkham.

We arrive at the site. A huge hole is in the side of one of the old structures, while another is non-existent. All as a result of Bane’s attacks. No sign of Dick, or Azrael. Tim pulls out a scanner from his belt, looking for life signs.

A scream echoes throughout the area.

We start to walk through the rubble of old walls, but eventually the rubble starts to turn to rocks as we move into the courtyard of the Asylum.

Then the rocks to blood.

And the blood to dead bodies.

Body.

After body.

After body.

Never had I seen this amount of murder before.

“Who could do all this?”

“Him.”

Tim points behind me, as he looks up from the scanner.

Sure enough there he is, Azrael, standing in front of Arkham Asylum, with Dick hanging above the entrance, his trophy.

Thunder strikes, illuminating him, as he speaks:

“Come to me, pretender. Face the wrath of the BATMAN!”

So recently I've been debating this, and I think its time end Teen Titans. It was really fun to do but it just isnt working for me, with it just being ideas I made years ago, and especially since the main focus so far has really only been Robin, not the Titans. I will announce though, a Batman series will be taking its place! It will take inspiratiom from many different mediums like Telltale, Arkham, The Batman, etc.

I honestly have just been really wanting to do my take on the Batman mythos for a while now, so I'm sorry if you are bummed over Titans, but this will hopefully be great. Well thats all for that, anyways figs.

Also excuse the absent background, my old one ripped and haven't bought a new one yet.

Lucius Fox - He will be like Lucius always is, a supporting character for Bruce.

James Gordan - The police captain of Gotham. He doesn't like having Batman in the city, but appreciates and respects him.

Alfred Pennyworth - The sassy, supportive, and strong willed butler of Bruce Wayne, he will be one of the bigger characters.

Bruce Wayne - I put Bruce here over a batsuit since im not sure which suit he'll use yet. Its typical Bruce who has been Batman for about a year now, still thought to be a rumor/myth who only the higher-ups at gcpd and some criminals know about.

Selina Kyle - Just the average Selina, she will be a regular but won't really interact much with Bruce unless she has her catsuit on.

Harvey Dent - DA Harvey Dent. Just kinda the average Harvey, he is currently on of the few who know about the Batman's existence along with Gordon. He fully supports him.

??? - John Doe, Jack Napier, Arthur Fleck. He goes by them all.

With explosions reigning all over the Gotham skyline, THE DARK KNIGHT climbs to the trusty GCPD roof to investigate further. There he encounters Charles Brown, THE KITE-MAN, giving birth to chaos across the city. Dodging and evading the bombs that fall, Batman soon realises it’s a trap to bring him closer into the sights of the expert marksman Floyd Lawton, DEADSHOT.

(Part one in a series of various Lego Batman MOCs! Aiming to do one a month for the first wave with diff. villains and then revisit next year. Ever since The Lego Group begun producing DC minifigs ive been collecting so it’s about time I started doing something with them creatively. Hopefully more stories soon!)

“St. Patrick's Day will be special this year, Batman.”

March 18th - 4:27 AM

St. Patrick's Day. Last night many of Gotham’s citizens celebrated by getting drunk in bars all across the city. It’s a busy night for the GCPD, as they have to handle all the DUIs and staggering drunks as they make their way home. Of course the Cauldron is one of the worst districts in the city, filled with some of the most shallow bars and strip clubs, and it’s a hotspot for criminal activity. Most of the cops assigned to this district are corrupt themselves and take part in the illegal activities. For some reason most of the scum like to spend their nights of leisure at one bar in particular: Noonan’s. Easily the sleaziest joint in the whole city. Tonight something happened there. GCPD got an anonymous tip that there was a homicide and are on their way to set up an investigation. I made my way to the corner of Peckinpah Street and Saint Avenue before any cops show up. The building is old and has the old Gotham air duct system that I can easily fit through. I drop down in front of the front door and lock it so I’m not ambushed while I investigate.

Three men were killed in Noonan’s bar by snake bite. The venom from the snake bites acted fast and all victims died rather quickly. Sean Noonan, a Korean War Veteran and long time Firearms collector, is the owner of the pub. He’s lying next to his trusty shotgun, which hadn’t been fired during the attack. He was no stranger to the firefights that occur in these rundown streets and has been known to pull the shotgun on any customers who he finds to be causing him trouble. Or even annoying. His Nephew, Patrick Noonan, is the second victim. I’ve been hearing that he’s been supplying weapons to some of the thugs in the neighborhood. Pat’s childhood friend, Thomas Monaghan, makes three. Monaghan is an infamous hitman who worked for Rupert Thorne. He’s always here to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day as he is part Irish. There are several dead snakes lying on the floor. Of course this must be because of the Legend of how Saint Patrick chased all of the snakes out of ireland. There’s also what appears to be a decorative pot of gold spilled across the floor.

The owner is wearing a shirt with “MAR 17th” on it painted in blood. There’s a used syringe on the floor. DNA Analysis confirms it was used on Sean Noonan to extract the blood used to mark the shirt. This fits the M.O. of none other than Calendar Man. However, this time he didn’t butcher them. Instead he must have released the venomous snakes, let them bite the victims and watched as they died. Fingerprint analysis on a mug shows that whoever murdered these men must have come into the bar and stayed past his welcome. The snakes, Inland Taipans, were released from underneath Calendar Man’s jacket. Somehow he wasn’t bitten in the process. Scanning the snakes shows that they were all injected with some kind of chemical compound that amplifies the snake venom’s effects. If Calendar Man was bitten at all he would have had to create an anti-venom to survive. I pull out a syringe type device of my own and collect a sample of the blood from the second victim. Hopefully I can take this back to the Batcave and analyze it further. Once I find out what it takes to create an anti venom to this poison I can try to locate just where Calender Man made his antidote. Now I have a sample of the venomous blood to examine and Calendar Man’s fingerprints in the database.

“Alfred, I’ve just scanned fingerprints belonging to Calendar Man. Put them into the Bat Computer database for later.”

“Good work sir! Were you able to catch a glimpse of this elusive murder ne'er-do-well?”

“No. He got away. Again. But now that we have his fingerprints we are one step closer to finding him.”

A GCPD squad car pull up in front of the place and Detective Bullock steps out of the car. He eyeballs me from the window and rushes to the front door. Before he knocks it in, I’m already gone. The back door was unlocked and I grapple to the roof. He rushes out the backdoor calling to someone on his walkie.

“Hey Jim! You’re not going to believe this!”

Batman- What’s the situation Jim?

Gordon- Lyle Bolton, Lock Up, was spotted outside City Hall twenty minutes ago, I believe he’s going to go after our new mayor. Speaking of, what do you think of him?

Batman- I think he genuinely wants to do good. He has a really passion for the city. But, at the same time, I’m not sure he’ll ever stop being a criminal. Not really

Gordon- Hmph. It could’ve been worse. I heard that cat guy was thinking of running.

Batman- Blake?

Gordon- No, no. Catwoman’s brother. Surprised?

Batman- I didn’t realise he was even alive.

Gordon- That's the thing, last I checked he wasn't. His body was in the GCPD morgue last week. Looked like Bouncer’s handiwork. Do you think-

*Bat vanishing act*

Gordon- Thats it. I’m electrifying this floor.

———————

Drury- This is a joyous occasion! My eldest son, Simon, has come home. The same son that was presumed dead weeks ago!

*clappity clap*

Simon- I’m just glad to be back. Being trapped in Zodiac Master's basement... I don't like thinking about it

Drury- I know son, we'll get through this together. Come, mayoral staff, let’s eat some celebratory cake! Excuse me while I get it

Press #1- He sure bakes a lot of cake...

Press #2- Yeah but it’s delicious

—————

Drury- Ah. Red Velvet. Who doesn’t love Red Velvet?

Bolton- Not a fan honestly

*The cake explodes*

Drury- Argh my deliciously red and velvet cake!

Bolton- Mr. Mayor, you reek of death and corruption. You deserve to be locked up!

Drury- Huh?

Bolton- It’s a pun. My alter ego is “Lock Up”

Drury- Ohhh... Do you say that to everyone? Is that your “heads you lose," “back in a flash” catchphrasy thing?

Bolton- Guess so.

Drury- Could do with some work honestly.

Bolton- Didn’t ask for your opinion.

Drury- “Lock Up”. Heh. Should call you “Fuck Up”

Bolton- Why?

Drury- ‘Cos you didn’t shut the window

*Bat-Punch*

Drury- If this was all it took to get your attention, I should’ve ran for mayor ages ago!

Batman- Walker-

Drury- Ah ah ah. 'Mr Mayor' now

Batman- Mr. Mayor. Did he hurt you?

Drury- Nah. He ruined my cake though. Bastard.

Batman- I don’t think you should stay in office

Drury- I bet you don’t. I understand

Batman- You do?

Drury- You’re jealous. That’s fine. I get jealous sometimes too. There was this one time... some guy made a move at my wife. I just took deep breaths and got over it. (and ran him over ssh)

Batman- That's... not why I think you should quit. There will be more men like Bolton after you, I don’t know if you can handle it.

Drury- I can handle it. Gar just caught Anarky hiding in the vents

Anarky- Down with the Government!

Gar- Down with.. you. I’m not very good at this. To be honest the only thing I’m good at is burning things. Myself mostly...

Batman- Ok, you were lucky this time but...

Drury- And Rigger caught Savage Skull scaling the wall

Batman- That may be-

Drury- And my dear Tiger Moth just rugby tackled the Reaper. Love you sweetie!

Miranda- Love you too babe

Batman- Fine. You seem to have it handled here! Goodnight.

Drury- Batman, wait! I *do* need you

Batman- Really?

Drury- Yes! There’s an extra cake at home, just for emergencies. Be a lamb and bring it over will you?

Alias: Wrath

Real Name: William Mallory

Backstory: His parents were sent to jail right around the same time Bruce Wayne's parents were murdered. They were jewel thieves, that were just trying to get by, in the harsh realities of Gotham City. Ever since his parents were locked away, he would come to resent the GCPD, along with the Batman. As William Mallory, he would meet and become good friends with Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson. After his first encounter as Wrath went awry, and had to flee the scene, he would go on to recruit his brother, as his trusty sidekick, Scorn.

Alias: Scorn

Real Name: Andy Mallory

Backstory: Unlike his brother, Andy doesn't really remember his parents, as he was only a baby when they got locked away. He was pretty much raised by his brother, so Andy values William's opinion more than anything. Upon learning what happened to his parents, he would join his brother as Scorn, villains for hire, sent to tarnish the Batman's name and image. While William got along with Bruce and Dick, Andy did not, often teasing Dick, and always trying to one up him.

Alias: White Knight

Real Name: N/A

Backstory: Starting a few years after the first appearance of the Batman, this White Knight has its own twisted sense of justice. Dressing itself as a knight, it went around, killing seemingly unconnected victims at first. Though it was figured out rather quickly it kills only those associated with the various criminals that terrorize Gotham City. The motive remains unknown, and White Knight has yet to be caught. Victims include Holly Robinson, Enigma, One of many Alice's Mad Hatter's collected, Ignatius Ogilvy, Penguin's "New Rogues", Ferak, Hazel, Rose and Thorn (The three Sporelings of Ivy), Becky Albright, Mistress of Fear, and finally Jessica and Gilda Dent, although there could be others that have yet to be found by the GCPD.

Alias: Cluemaster

Real Name: Arthur Brown

Backstory: Arthur Brown, hosted a game show, much similar to Jeopardy, having to answer questions, given a clue/prompt. Since they aired at basically the same time, and had similar concepts, only one was truly accepted by the general audience. Unfortunately for Arthur Brown, it was Jeopardy, and not his game show that was accepted. The ratings would tank drastically after the second episode aired, which would lead to an early cancellation. The critics found Arthur to be rather bland, and boring as a host. Arthur was furious, not having a job anymore. Still needing to provide for his family, including a daughter that was on the way, he would turn to a life of crime, stealing from whoever he could. Starting out with small heists, he would leave various clues, much similar to the ones he would use on his gameshow, at the scene of the crime. Since it was rather obvious who was committing the crimes, thanks to some of the clues being exactly the same, Batman and the GCPD would find Arthur Brown in his home, in his Cluemaster attire. He would be sent to Arkham Asylum, where he would spend the next couple years, plotting his revenge against the caped crusader. Riddler would break him out, seeing potential in his clues. Cluemaster and Riddler would start a partnership, of clues and riddles, that would try and fool the Dark Knight. Unfortunately, Batman, along with his new Robin, Jason Todd, would find them, with Riddler managing to escape the scene, and all evidence pointing towards Brown. It was revealed that Riddler only broke Arthur out to have him as a scapegoat, since both have a similar gimmick, only seeing Arthur as a pawn. This betrayal led to a rivalry between Cluemaster, and Riddler, one standing the test of time. After recently escaping from Arkham, he would reach out to his cousin, Charles Brown, also known as Kite-Man, for help in his latest scheme in getting revenge on both Batman, and Riddler. Arthur Brown's location is currently unknown.

Alias: Chancer:

Real Name: N/A

Backstory: Born and raised in Texas, not much else is known about Chancer's former life.. A thief, known for having quite the lucky streak. He would unknowingly create the villain Nimrod when Chancer would end up framing him for murder of a security guard. He would eventually move to Gotham, where he would encounter Batman for the first time, his lucky streak coming to an end. It was there, inside prison, where he would meet other Misfits, that were, eccentric, to say the least. During a prison break, Chancer would join these Misfits, that would not be seen for another year, cooking up a scheme so dastardly that even the Batman wouldn't be able to stop them. He, along with the other Misfits, are still at large.

=====GCPD=====

Gordon- Allen? What is it?

Allen- Blackgate, Jim. Just got word. Sawyer's down there now

Gordon- Godamn it... Brief me on the way. I want all available units on converge at Blackgate, now!

*As the GCPD bursts into action, Gordon and Allen walk towards the rooftop*

Allen- Two hours ago, Philip Cobb reported to the medical team for his routine check up. It was then he used one of the cafeteria knives, smuggled... somewhere best left unsaid, to stab a nearby guard, grabbing his gun.

Gordon- He's still in the prison?

Allen- Thank god, yeah. Some guy got a lucky shot off. He's still breathing.

Bullock- Hey Commish-

Gordon- Not now Bullock-

Allen- -He'd already disabled his own collar and deactivated the rest.

Gordon- How many metas were in there?

Allen- Enough to cause a real problem Jim. Strobe, Nichols, Meister-

Gordon- Meister... He can't get off that island, understand?

Allen- Got it.

Gordon- Right, give me a minute.

*Gordon pulls the lever on the police spotlight, activating the famous Bat-Signal. That done, he turns to Bullock*

Bullock- Well, it was gonna happen sooner or later eh Commish? I mean really-

Gordon- Not one more word. I'll see you there.

*Gordon and Allen step into the police helicopter and fly off towards Blackgate, Bullock sighs, then turns to the bullpen, beginning a song to the tune to "Savages"*

Bullock- Just, what did he expect?

'Place was a powder keg!

And the inmates are now loose and on the run!

The walls are painted red

All the guards are dead

They're vermin as I said, and worse!

Cops- It's anarchy!

Anarchy!

Gordon- Lock down all the bridges!

Cops- Anarchy! Anarchy!

Gordon- Keep them from the shore!

Bullock- They ain't like you and me

Quite frankly, they're all evil

We're facing a god damn war!

Cops- It's anarchy!

Anarchy!

Those men are all devils!

We're facing a godamn war!

=====Blackgate Prison=====

Tockman- Thank god we're all free.

Blackgate was no prison,

The only thing you could call it is Hell

Strobe- No more shall we hide,

Lock ourselves away inside.

You ask me? I say freedom's swell,

Inmates- It's anarchy!

Anarchy!

Ragdoll- No more being human!

Inmates- Anarchy! Anarchy!

Meister- Gotham shall be "ours"!

They tried to lock us up!

Kept us all in cages!

We must sound the drums of war

Inmates- It's anarchy!

Anarchy!

We have to kill each last one

Then we'll sound the drums of war

======

Inmates- Anarchy! Anarchy!

Gordon- Now I'm on the scene men!

Cops- Anarchy! Anarchy

Gordon- Help me catch this guy, men!

Inmates- Anarchy! Anarchy!

No more being human!

Now we sound the drums of war!

======

Hazard- I don't get it sugah. Didn't you want this?

Drury- I wanted to get out I didn't realise it'd be so-

Ragdoll- Beautiful? I know! Would you look at that bloodstain? Looks like a flower! Yippee!

...

Drury- No. I never wanted to-

Hazard- To what?

*Drury can't hear her. All he's focused on Mr Camera, a knife in his hand, seemingly just left Drury's old cell. And Drury realises what's happened. He speeds off towards the cell, hoping, praying he's not too late*

=======

Gordon- This will be the day

(Let's go men!)

Inmates- This will be the morning

We will see them dying in the dust

Drury- (I don't know what I can do

Still I know I've got to try)

Inmates- Now we make them pay

Drury- (Come on Drury, do or die)

Cops- Now without a warning!

Drury- (You'd rather an imprisoned fate...?)

Inmates- Now we leave em blood and bone and rust

Bullock- Once again, I'll yell and cry!

It's them or us!

Drury- (Please don't let it be too late.)

Anarky- They're just a bunch of corrupt, filthy....

Cops- Anarchy!

Inmates- Anarchy!

Cops- Psychos!

Inmates- Coppers!

Gordon- Stop them!

Cop- Anarchy!

Inmates- Anarchy!

Meister- What are we waiting for?

Mow them down with haste until there's not a trace left

Gordon- How loud are the drums of the war?

Meister- *We* will sound the drums of war!

Anarchy! Anarchy!

Bullock- Now we sound the drums of war!

Anarchy! Anarchy!

Meister- Now we see what comes of trying to be civil

Cops/Inmates- Now we sound the drums of-

War!

*Drury is looking down at Ten. His face is bloodied, the photograph is gone but worst of all? His hands have been cut off*

Gotham. 67th Street.

So, where's this dude staying?

Apparently, he's got himself a nice new apartment at the one on the corner of 67th and 32nd.

Investigations taken a while. I reckon he's relaxed by now. Should be fun.

Sure, Dan. I love arresting jewel thieves.

Hey, at least they aren't as likely to murder you as, say...murderers.

Heh. No shit.

Here. Try the buzzer.

*bzzzz*

Mr Trent? We'd like to have a word with you. Regarding...um...a package.

Oh, god. Nice one, Hanson.

Hey, shutup. You know I'm not too good at thinking of things on the fly-

*Crash*

Shit. That sounds like our perp.

Round the back! Go, go!

Where'd he go?

Around the corner, heading east!

Shit. Now where is he?

Umm...shit. Where the hell-

There! Jumping the Reservoir fence! Get over there!

You head around the reservoir, I'll follow him directly!

Stop! In the name of the law!

Hyaaah!

*Thud*

Gottim.

Damn, he's fast.

Yeah, he sure is.

God, it's hot. I really feel like taking the day off and just jumping in the reservoir.

You'd poison it, Dan.

Hey. Zip it.

Oh, crap.

'Mr Trent; you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do...

GCPD goes on a footchase, and ends up in #67, the Reservoir.

Huge thanks to Duncan for the Supreme Court idea.

Alias: Copperhead

Real Name: Nathan Prince

Gender: Male

Alignment: Villain

Backstory: Nathan would drown his baby brother out of jealousy, with him not receiving as much attention as he used to. However, he was never accused of the crime. This eventually led to him pulling a knife on his parents, running away from home soon after. Left to live on the streets of Gotham, Nathan had to fend for himself. The Kobra organization's interest in the boy were piqued. This led to Nathan joining the organization, with their many promises. Rising through the ranks with ease, he would become one of their top assassins, even leading Strike Force Kobra, as Copperhead. The years went on, before he would see someone just as lost as he was in Larissa Diaz, upon her coming to Gotham. He would take her into Kobra, and trained her as best he could. But Larissa would end up killing Nathan, becoming the new Copperhead, as there couldn't be more than one.

Alias: Hatman

Real Name: Morris Tetch

Gender: Male

Alignment: Villain

Backstory: While Mad Hatter was in Arkham, a copycat took his place, as the Hatman. Much Like Hatter, he had a thing for Alice, along with hats, hence the name. Hatman wanted to know once and for all who the Batman was. So various schemes were concocted, with all of them being foiled of course, by the Batman. Surprisingly, the Wonderland Gang instantly knew that this man was not the Mad Hatter they once followed. Overtime, Gotham would learn that Hatman was in fact Morris Tetch, Mad Hatter's brother. Morris grew frustrated with constantly hearing his brothers alias constantly in the headlines. This would culminate as soon as they were broken out of Arkham, with Morris trying to kill Jervis. The attempt was unsuccessful however, as Batman, Robin, Redbird, Nightwing, and Batgirl, were all there to stop the jailbreak.

Alias: Professor Pyg

Real Name: Lazlo Valentin

Gender: Male

Alignment: Villain

Backstory: Lazlo, also known as Professor Pyg, is a deranged schizophrenic, with a disturbed obsession of making people perfect in his eyes. If that requires the removal of a few limbs here and there, so be it. His Circus of Strange abduct "normies" for him to perform his surgeries on, in the hopes of transforming them into his 'Dollotrons'. In the process, the individuals lose all sense of self, becoming something else. Lazlo has been caught along with select members of his Circus of Strange. In Arkham, he's locked in his cell, as he's prone to trying to preform his surgeries on other patients and staff. It's unknown what happened to him in the past which lead him to adopting the Professor Pyg identity in the first place.

Alias: Hooded Hangman

Real Name: N/A

Gender: N/A

Alignment: Villain

Backstory: A serial killer, known for hanging its victims. The Hangman's real name, and past, is currently unknown. Though, there are rumors of the Hangman being former wrestler, Telman Davis, there's no actual evidence to support the claim. There isn't really anything linking the victims together, which has made catching Hooded Hangman all the more difficult. The Hangman has even managed to evade the Batman.

Alias: Executioner

Real Name: Nathaniel Barnes

Gender: Male

Alignment: Villain

Backstory: Nathaniel Barnes, former Captain of the GCPD, had issues of brutality against suspects, which led to him eventually being fired. After being infected with a virus, which heightened his rage/anger, Nathaniel's physical attributes were also enhanced. Durability, strength, among other things. Still wanting to cleanse Gotham, Nathaniel became the Executioner. He would find like minded individuals along the way (White Knight, Judge, Lock-Up, Rumor), with them all eventually teaming up, becoming the Supreme Court. Even though their intentions were somewhat pure, they came into conflict with the Batman on various occasions, as they were going about it the wrong way.

*SPOILER*

Mind control (glowing yellow eyes)...

So Michelle is in town. That's right, Goldstar. We've been friends since about 6th grade. Do I think she's cute? Yeah. Nice? Totally. Good superhero? Absolutely. Never gonna move here? Probably.

"So, Michelle. What brings you to town?"

"Well, Rooster☆ and I were dimension-hopping around and I decided we should settle down somewhere for a while. Obviously, this would be the best place to do it."

"Uhhhh, Gotham isn't exactly the best place to 'settle down', Michelle."

"I know, but you're here. I just couldn't resist."

Aaaaand I can feel my face turning red. Keep it cool Grayson, keep it cool.

"Well, you are welcome to stay in the manor if you like."

Cool as ice. Ugh, I really hope that bad pun doesn't attract Freeze.

"That's what I was counting on! Thanks Dickie, you're the best!"

*Michelle turns around and begins to walk over to the Manor*

She said I'm the best. How do I respond to that?

"I know. *dumb smile*"

Why do I do this to myself? *internal facepalm*

*Michelle giggles*

"You can choose any room you like! If you need anything, ask Alfred or you can come find me in the batcave."

"Will do!"

(Later, in the batcave)

I'm in the middle of searching criminal records and evidence from crime scenes on/involving Anarky, when I hear someone enter the cave. I turn around in my chair immediately.

"Michelle?"

"Not even close, sir."

"Oh, ha ha. Hey Alfred, whats up?"

"Only the Gotham police ball that you are supposed to be attending tonight. You have found a date, correct?"

"You'd think that, but no I haven't."

"What about miss Michelle? She seems like the perfect date for you, sir."

"And why do you say that?"

"Master Dick, do you honestly believe that in all the years we have been together, I hadn't once noticed you're interest in miss Michelle?"

"Good point...you think she likes me?"

"Master Grayson, I think that is something you should find out on your own."

Just then, Michelle comes into the batcave, in her red tank top and blue jeans with her long light blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes. No matter what she's wearing, she always looks amazing. So I ask her.

"Hey Michelle, you wanna be my date to the police ball?"

"Dick Grayson, are you asking me out?!"

"Well...um...yeah?"

I'm really hoping I didn't just screw up.

"Well then my answer is '...um...yeah.'"

*Michelle giggles and kisses Grayson on the cheek*

I did it. I just got a date with Michelle Carter...this day couldn't get any better.

(8:00 p.m. at the police ball)

Me and Michelle pull up to the GCPD building, where the ball is being held. I am in a black suit, with a purple vest and white gloves. Closest I could get to all black. Michelle is wearing a coal black dress, with pure white gloves.

When we enter the room, all the desks and everything are cleared out to make one big dance floor. They even have a disco ball hanging from the ceiling. There are tables with food right inside the entrance to the room, with punch and hors d'oeuvres. Things like little sandwiches, cheese squares, crackers. Nothing special, but it'll do.

"This is pretty nice, huh?"

"Yeah i guess, but parties aren't really my thing. Especially since Bruce was killed."

"Listen, I know it's been hard, but you gotta lighten up a little. You dont want to be a grumpy pants all the time do you?! This is a party, try to have fun!"

"Ha ha yeah I guess you're right. I'll lighten up, but only because you convinced me with that adorable smile!"

"Ha ha ha stop it, you big flirt!"

Tally Man, Red Claw, Rumor, Temblor, Blaze. Tally Man is the only one out of this group to actually originate in the comics. The rest came from BTAS (Red Claw), or the Batman (Rumor, Temblor, and Blaze). Red Claw's secret identity as Tabitha Galavan came from the show Gotham

Tally Man

Backstory: A hitman for hire, who would keep track of his kills in a black book. It was later learned that he was Tony Gordon, son of Commissioner James Gordon of the GCPD. The result of a previous marriage, before Gordon met Barbara Kean. Tony would blame his father, for leaving him before he was even born. He became Tally Man as a way to get attention from his father, that he never had as a child. He even tried to kill Jim's daughter, Barbara at one point. Unfortunately, he was defeated by Batman, and Robin (who was Dick Grayson at the time). Currently, he resides in Arkham Asylum, just waiting for the day he can get his revenge.

Red Claw

Backstory: Tabitha Galavan, along with her brother, Theo, had a rough childhood, living on the streets of Gotham City. She would eventually find her way to the League of Assassin's, where she would receive most of her training in various weapon styles, as well as martial arts. It was during this time that she would lose all connection with her brother, as no contact with your past life was allowed upon joining the league. She would be known as Red Claw, one of the most dangerous assassin's ever trained by the League. Returning to Gotham years later, she would come into conflict against Batman various times, with her losing each time.

Rumor

Backstory: Rumor, like the name implies, is just a rumor. A myth. Much like the Batman, Rumor is talked about through hushed whispers, no one dare saying the name outloud. Of the ones who claimed to have seen Rumor, none of them lived to tell the tale.

Temblor

Backstory: Enchanted by Poison Ivy's beauty, he was one of thousands to serve her, when she first turned the men of the city of Gotham against Batman and Robin. Temblor has two gauntlets, which can produce concussive blasts, also able to cause localized seismic activity when he slams his gauntlets into the ground, creating small earthquakes. He's a minor foe at best, is taken out rather quickly, even with his enhanced durability, thanks to his armor.

Blaze

Backstory: Jane Blazedale was hired by Gothcorp soon after Garfield Lynns was fired. She initially applied to Gothcorp as she admires Garfield and his work on the Firefly suit, and wanted to work with him. Unfortunately she didn't get the chance to at Gothcorp. She tracked him down, and wanted to team up with him. He told her about his master plan to take down Gothcorp as Firefly, and she wanted in. So Garfield created another suit, this time calling it "Blaze" as a reference to both fire, and Jane's last name. Together, they plan on burning Gothcorp to the ground.

Wooooo it's my birthday! Having a good time already. And now I'm allowed to go to R rated movies without a parent or guardian!

And to the people in the pic, you guys are probably the people I'm closest to in the LEGO world. You actually get to come to the party! A few things: To everyone, I know you might not be the characters you are in the picture right now, but they're who I know you best as. Julius and Adam, I know you're not part of the team right now, but you still deserve a spot here. Jon, I tried to make you Nightwing, but I had to improvise a bit. :P

(And Sam and Eddie, I tried to tag you but your usernames never show up when I search for them. So, uh, go ahead and tag yourselves. :P )

I also tagged a few more cool people and inspirations. :D

The Supreme Court, branding their own sense of justice throughout Gotham, doing whatever it takes to get rid of the criminal element. Huge thanks to Duncan for the name idea.

Alias: Judge

Real Name: N/A

Gender: N/A

Alignment: Anti-Hero/Villain

Backstory: Yet another vigilante, that runs amok in Gotham City. Judge's signature weapon is the gavel it carries, using it to bash the skulls of criminals that need to be judged for their crimes. Judge has foiled many of Two-Face's operations, along with many of the other notable criminals of Gotham City. Unlike most other vigilante's, Judge was for a time, publicly condoned by councilman J. Carroll Corcoran, for the actions Judge is willing to take, to rid Gotham of its criminal plague. During one encounter against Killer Croc, Judge almost has him beat, about to take the "monster's" life, when suddenly, the Batman shows up. He's able to save Killer Croc, and take down Judge. Much to the councilman's chagrin, Judge would soon be transported to Arkham. However, during being transported to Arkham, the vehicle would suddenly lose control, crashing, and killing the driver in the process. Soon after, the door's would be opened, and would be welcomed by White Knight, as the Supreme Court of Gotham would be formed, dispensing their own sense of justice against the criminals of Gotham City.

Alias: Rumor

Real Name: N/A

Gender: N/A

Backstory: Rumor, like the name implies, is just a rumor. A myth. Much like the Batman, Rumor is talked about through hushed whispers, no one dare saying the name outloud. Of the ones who claimed to have seen Rumor, none of them lived to tell the tale.

-Good evening Gotham! Our top story tonight: GCPD has its hands full as a mysterious vigilante has been dispensing hard justice on Gotham criminals. Could this be the work of the supposed Batman? Or is this another crimefighter at work? We bring you-

-In the wake of the Blackgate riots not one year ago, dozens of escaped inmates have become inspired by their rescuers, and have started donning masked personas of their own. Though the majority of inmates are now back in custody, and awaiting transfer to Stryker's Island, Metropolis, police are still searching for the mastermind the media has branded "The Bloody Butterfly-"

-Jeremy Seinfeld's trial concluded today. The 38 year old calling himself Zodiac Master was arrested four months ago when he orchestrated the hijacking on flight-

-John Comet marks the fifth child to have gone missing in the past two days. The three year old was snatched from his bed between 6 and 7 pm. Commissioner Gordon has assured the families that their children *will* be found safely, warning the kidnappers that-

-After much hushed tones, The Falcone Construction company is proud to announce that Arkham Asylum will open it's doors to the public once more. The newly established warden, Charles Cavendish, has declared no case or ailment is too small to be treated and no families shall be ignored. Of course, skepticism is high, with the involvement of Carmine Falcone, not all changes are expected to be well received-

I shouldn't be here. Five children have disappeared, more have probably gone unreported but *Uhn* here I am. Martin Cole was the third victim, admitted to Gotham General yesterday to receive treatment for his hemophilia. Doctors described "A Ragdoll" crawling through the window, and taking the toddler while he slept. When I returned there to pick up any clues, this... Thing attacked me. One of Falcone's men? Or does he work for the kidnappers?

"Who are you? What do you know about the missing children?"

He's clad in black. Metal, blood soaked horns adorn his head. He doesn't speak, only growls. That's fine by me, because I'm wasting enough time. Have to end this. Fast.

"Penny One, tell me you have something on this monster"

Alfred- One moment sir.

Over Comms, at the Batcave, there's movement on the newly named Batcomputer.

Alfred- I'm afraid reports are scarce, Master Bruce, all I can find is a news report dating five years ago. "The Metalhead Murderer," they called him. He killed the Blüdhaven police chief, two of his captains, and then... Nothing. Vanished.

So our mystery man has a name...

"Metalhead, then. Falcone hire you to bring me in?"

MH- Wrong, Bat. Falcone may've wanted you alive. But my employer? *He* wants you dead.

Batman- Then he's going to be disappointed.

===The Gotham Sewer Systems===

Maxie Lloyd. Age two. Male. Catch of the day.

His captor whistles through crooked teeth, and, emerging from the broken pipes, a trail of rodents follow them dutifully. The toddler cries, of course- he's only human, but the rat-man, this sewer king, continues on his way, his soul filled with nothing more than general apathy. The Ratcatcher approaches what appears to be a dead end, only for him to locate a series of bricks in the wall, and clap them sequentially with his lantern. As if by some form of magic, dark magic, the wall gives way to the Ratcatcher's lair. Horrified by what he sees, little Maxie Lloyd lets out a shriek, only for it to be muffled by the Ratcatcher's rubber glove around his mouth. He may've learned to block out the screaming, but his rats haven't.

"Quiet."

Above them, are ten children, chained up along the walls. Puncture marks in their right arms denote where a needle has freshly pierced their skin. Along the walls are jars of spiders, snakes, snails, preserved in greenish liquids. The floors are littered with Ratcatcher's pets, feasting on victims from long ago. From his laboratory, a dark figure watches them, little more than unholy mass of rags and bones. Noticing him, The Ratcatcher mutters "Fresh meat" and hoists the child up for his inspection.

It's crying, the figure thinks. Why is it crying? Half the fun was finding out why. Hematophobia, fear of blood? Misophobia, fear of rats? Agoraphobia, fear of social embarrassment? Or... Yes, perhaps. Nick nack paddy wack, give the dog a bone.

"Yes, Mr Flannegan, this one will do nicely."

The figure leans over, locking eyes with his new patient. His eyes are red, red with a splash of yellow. His pupils are dilated, but he is unblinking. And he gives his diagnosis.

"Phobophobia. The fear, of fears. Oh, don't worry, child, it's only natural."

He leans over to the Ratcatcher, the man he called Flannegan, and whispers in his ear.

"I want him ready for the trials. Prepare test 01.11"

The screaming child is carried off, and the figure grins, a single candle illuminates his horrific visage, a visage that gives even Flannegan nightmares, let alone the children he's kidnapped. And with good reason, the figure laughed, after all, Formidophobia is remarkably common. The fear, of Scarecrows.

Drury- Moth? I’m just picking up a few things! Moth? Is this because I gave Rigger a set of keys? How would I know he’d download porn?

Batman- Walker.

Drury- Christ! Batman! I haven’t seen you in ages! How’s it been?

Batman- ... fine. What’s going on here?

Drury- No idea, I’m just here to pick up the crib. My wife’s pregnant.

Batman- You’re married?

Drury- Yep. You’d know that if you answered my calls

Batman- Walker. This is your ‘Moth-Cave’ you must have some idea of what goes on here.

Drury- No, I moved out years ago. I lease it to some D-Lister. ‘The Moth’. There was something about him I liked.

Batman- Could it be the name?

Moth- Perhaps. Oh, I see he’s redecorated

Batman- Redecorated?

Drury- That cocoon, never seen it before. Can’t say I like it. Clashes with the wallpaper.

The Moth- Peh! You could never appreciate our gifts Walker! We were both blessed by Charaxes. While I worked towards his return, you thought you could have a normal life!

Batman- Moth! Turn yourself in now and the courts may be lenient-

Drury- Bats, please. I’ve got this. What’s up with the skin?

The Moth- You couldn’t begin to understand the breadth of my machinations

Drury- It’s Carson’s ain’t it? He’s in the cocoon.

The Moth- Well I- that is to say- He has accepted the gift you rejected, he will be one with the master

Drury- Wonderful, I’d love to stay and chat but I need to be by my woman’s side in these times.

Batman- You can’t walk away, Walker. The GCPD will have questions.

Drury- Since when have you followed the cops orders?

Batman- It doesn’t matter. As for you, Moth- The Moth, you’re under arrest- where did he go?

Drury- Huh. He pulled a you. SpOoKy.

Batman- I have to go after him.

Drury- Wait. Baby names. We’re thinking Maggie if it’s a girl. Garfield if it’s a boy.

Batman- Walker-

Drury- I know. I talked to Miranda but she said no. “You can’t call our child fucking Batman”. I fought for you man, I really did. And, he’s gone. Typical.

If you saw Taylor's Arkham Asylum photo: www.flickr.com/photos/99900022@N03/15186411927/ , then you know what this is about.

I recently went back through and played Arkham City again, much like Taylor did with Arkham Asylum. After he posted his Arkham Asylum photo, I decided I wanted to do the same, but with Arkham City.

All of the figures in this photo are characters that you meet or interact with in the main story of the game. No figures from side missions are in here except for Azrael, who I ran into on the way to the GCPD to find Freeze, so I threw him in. Plus, I like my Azrael figure, so I wanted him in. I mean, you see him at the beginning of the game when you are still Bruce Wayne to.

Because I didn't use side mission characters, there is no Hush, Deadshot, Zsasz, Riddler, etc.

From L to Right:

Top Row: Batman (Uses the head from the UCS Tumbler)

Middle Row: Catwoman and Robin

Bottom Row: Azrael, The Penguin, Ra's al Ghul, Hugo Strange. Harley Quinn, Two-Face, The Joker, Mr. Freeze, and Clayface.

Please tell me what you think :)

Me.

Azrael.

Outside Arkham Asylum.

Ready to fight, in the name of Batman.

Dick, in chains.

Tim, desperately trying to free Dick.

Bruce, Dead.

Jason Todd, Dead.

Alfred, Dead.

The odds couldn’t be any worse for me, against this monster.

“Come, false knight. Come face the justice of Azrael”

“Blah blah blah. You’re insults are as lame as your armo-“

He almost catches me with a fist. He’s quicker than I thought. Far quicker.

My dodge allows me to attempt to sweep him. An attempt that fails. His armour is far too thick. He looks down, scoffs, and utters one phrase.

“You disappoint me.”

With that, he simply slaps me away, and approaches Tim and Dick.

Tim finally frees Dick, who falls to the ground. And slumps, silently, defeated.

Tim looks up, and instantly raises his bo-staff to Azrael, ready to fight.

This boy is brave, I’ll give him that. But bravery won’t protect him from the overshadowing foe, that is Azrael.

Tim makes a few good hits, but ultimately it means nothing.

Nothing with that damned armour. The worse part? It’s not even electronic, so I can’t use my EMP on it.

Azrael raises another one of his gauntleted fists to Tim’s head.

No one is going to save the city from Azrael.

No one but ME!

I activate my boosters, in a signature move, and tackle Azrael down. Mercilessly beating him into submission, the moment he loses his footing.

I manage to rip off the left arm and gauntlet of his armour, before he pushes me off and begins to march towards Tim again.

“Weak. The both of you are too weak to stand against me.”

He emits a beast-like yell at Tim, and lunges. Dick trips him up, and he falls flat first into the mud.

“Looks like the weak one here is you, Jean.”

Dick begins to get up, but is met by Azrael’s fist and instead returns to the floor.

Tim and I are on him immediately, constraining both of his arms in an arm lock.

“How dare you touch the champion of Saint Dumas!”

This time, his armour is his weakness. It’s slowing him down too much.

He realises this the same time we do, and slings around the arm which had the armour ripped off – throwing Tim to the ground, and catching me off balance.

Once my balance has regained, I prepare battle stance, ready to face him.

Azrael, instead, runs into the Asylum.

In return, I run to Tim and Dick, and check on them.

“It’s okay, Terry, I’m fine. Dick needs more help than me.”

I look at Dick, who is slumped against the wall. He flaps his hand at us.

“You two go. You said it yourself. He’s going down tonight.”

Tim tries to reason with him by uttering a simple:

“But-“

“But nothing. Go. And take him down.”

He looks at me, and I simply nod at him, get on my feet.

Tim goes to follow me, but I put my hand out to prevent him from following.

“Tim. Sit down. You two need to rest.”

“No. You can’t do this alone”

“I know. But I have to try.”

With that, I start to chase after Azrael.

Into the Asylum. Into darkness. Into insanity.

Tim’s words echo after me through Arkham’s halls:

“You need us Terry! He’ll kill you!”

For all I know… He’s right.

The Asylum is cold, and wet. All the hallmark signs of an abandoned building are here.

Rot. Ruin. Decay.

All made worse by Azrael’s presence. Commanding the atmosphere like an airborne disease.

His voice cuts through the unsettling silence:

“Come no further, demon. You are not welcome here.”

Instead I keep walking.

Past bloodied empty cells.

Past bloodied occupied cells. Cells that are occupied by the dead.

Each with their own hallmark of insanity.

Two Face’s cell is clean on one half, smeared with his blood and littered with his body parts on the other.

The Penguin has a small selection of dead birds adorning his cell, some even sewn onto his body, like sick version of an aviary.

Opposite that cell, Poison Ivy is suspended from the walls by vines of thorn. On her head sits a crown of thorns, which trails down each part of her body, digging into her skin, releasing blood upon the floor.

Only the Joker’s cell remains clean and empty.

At the end, is a door.

A door with a cross burned upon it.

There is no doubt about who resides here.

This is Azrael’s cell.

I open the door and step in.

I scoff.

This is some sad version of a Batcave. The room is littered with pieces of stolen equipment. Prototypes of various armours are placed on the ground. Tanks of green liquid, hooked up to microscopes. Further along, a Batmobile is parked on a turntable, leading out into the city.

“You should not have followed me here!”

I am knocked down, as he drops down on me. Must have been hiding in the rafters.

I roll to the side to get him off me and kick him down, while I launch myself up and regain my footing.

“It’s over Azrael.”

“It’s far from over, devil!”

Once up he lunges at me, and I sidestep him, causing him to lose his momentum.

A single swift kick, and he’s on the ground again.

“Your anger makes you clumsy, Azrael. Give it up. You can’t defeat me.”

He stops.

And looks up at me.

“Then Saint Dumas will give me the strength.”

Once upright, he lunges at me for the second time, and again I sidestep. But as I do so, he grabs me with his arm, and pulls me along using his momentum – throwing me against a batmobile.

I did not see that coming.

It’s his turn to have the beat down.

The flurry of punches comes at me like a whirlwind.

I will admit, the punches with his right fist hurt a lot more because of the gauntlet.

Amidst the strikes, I press my hand against his helmet and activate one of my last ditch efforts.

My entire arm emits a small explosion, destroying that section of the suit, leaving nothing but mesh to protect my skin.

As for Azrael, he’s visibly shaken with parts of his armour destroyed, but not enough to affect his onslaught.

I try to boost away, but his grapple wraps around my leg, and he grounds me. He then pulls me to him and rips out my boosters. Slag! I’ve lost one of my biggest assets. I come to my senses and throw a batarang to his helmet, taking out the vision of one visor.

But this doesn’t stop him at all, instead a barrage of batarangs from his gauntlet comes my way, I respond with my own, knocking them out of the air.

He takes this opportunity to activate his flamethrower, and I turn to the side, protecting my exposed arm. Thankfully it doesn’t affect the rest of the suit.

Focus alone isn’t going to defeat this guy. I put my hand to my belt for the thermite, but it doesn’t come out. I look down, and half the belt was impacted by the explosion. Could be easily fixed, but for now?

Azrael.

That’s all that matters right now.

Me. Versus him.

At that moment Tim joins us.

“I told you to stay back!”

“And I told you, you can’t do this alone. I’ve come to help.”

“You’ve come to die, little Robin. There is no defeating me.”

“We’ll see.”

All three of us get into our ready stances, and wait for who moves first.

I relax, shake my body off, and break the silence.

“So who moves first? Because I’m all for waiting. Catch my breath, you know?”

“Silence. I will not be poisoned by your words, false knight!”

As his words move through the air, as does he. Employing as much force as he can with each fist he aims at my face.

Each kick that comes my way.

All countered by Bruce’s teachings.

Tim joins in, offering his own counters, but Azrael is too strong for him. He goes down easily, granted he is still a boy. Nothing more.

Azrael ignores me for a moment, and sends Tim crashing through the windscreen of the nearest Batmobile. I hear a small moan come from him, as Azrael approaches me, and continues the fight.

His fighting style is impeccable. Whoever gets on his bad side would stand no chance against him. And the bodies strewn around Gotham play testament to his skill.

He’s good. But not as good as me.

I dodge under one fist, and bring one of my own to his stomach.

His bulk means that my blows don’t affect him.

My display of technique infuriates him, and causes his strikes to be even more forceful. I didn’t even know that was possible. One of my dodges sends his fist into the ground, and shards of rock fly everywhere.

I do a cartwheel kick, and pick up the rocks while doing so – using the momentum of the cartwheel to throw them at him.

No impact at all. Was worth a shot.

While he’s more vicious. He’s bigger than I am. Meaning he’ll fall down harder.

I go for his legs again, but instead he catches my leg with his arm and slams me down.

He gets on top, and pins me to the ground. Places his hands around my neck, and applies the pressure.

He taunts, as his hands begin to squeeze the life out of me.

“You’re weak. There is no room for your kind in this world!”

I am almost helpless to do anything. But there is one last thing I can do.

No boosters, no batarangs… Anything else will be needed in the future, and the dimension jump must be protected.

I rip off my belt and throw it away. Azrael thinks nothing of it, and continues to choke me.

This time, I’m not sure if I can take it. Discharging one arm is one thing. But my whole body, in this state, is another.

Sir, I'm not sure this is wise...

If I could speak, I would tell A.L.F.R.E.D to shut the hell up.

It’s now or never.

I clutch to Azrael.

And activate the full suit.

Azrael is thrown back, his armour all but destroyed. His bare arm, burnt. His helmet offering no protection at all. And his suit, ravaged, with no salvageable parts. He is bleeding severely.

But he won’t go down.

He looks right at me, with a bright green shining from his once-blue eyes, full of rage.

And prepares his gauntlet, the only thing that survived the blast.

I, on the other hand. Have nothing but the electronic mesh of the suit.

I am basically naked, covered in wires.

No protection from the inevitable attack.

“Clever trick, demon. A valiant effort. But now. YOUR TIME HAS COME!”

He raises his fist, and aims his clawed hand for my head.

He brings it down.

This is it… I’m sorry Bruce…

“GCPD! Freeze!”

Azrael is distracted enough for me to dodge what would be a final blow. His bladed fist hits the ground beside my head, barely nicking my cheek. The officers who have arrived at the scene begin to shoot at him, and I see him stumble back. The hellfire of bullets is too much for what remains of the armour, and his battered, bleeding, body. He looks up and see that a small army of GCPD, accompanied by Tim and Dick - all ready to fight him.

In typical villainous fashion, he swings his cape around him, and melodramatically proclaims:

“I’ll get you next time, demon.”

With that, he boosts over a nearby Batmobile, and desperately sprints down the turntable, leaving a trail of blood into the city. The GCPD move in, and surround me as I sit up. Several sniper’s lasers circle my head and chest.

“Are you guys f*cking stupid, or what? Did you not see him battle Azrael? Put the guns down.”

Barbara Gordon wheels her way onto the scene.

“You’re lucky you still have friends on the squad, Nightwing. Otherwise his steampunk looking ass would’ve been lit up.”

She nods at me. Dick takes no notice.

“Commissioner, good to see you again.”

“Likewise.”

She addresses the officers who have gathered at the scene.

“Create a perimeter around the building, get paramedics on the scene, we need this place to be ours. Come on people you know the drill, surely I don’t need to tell you how to do your job!”

The officers then spring into action immediately. A mumbled “clearly you do” comes from one of the officers, to which she shoots a sharp look at, silencing them. She then approaches us.

“I don’t care who this new guy is. But Azrael needs to be off the streets. Just look at what he is done here. He is a disease to this city, and he can’t be allowed to fester anymore. Either you take him down, or I’m asking for assistance from what’s left of the JL.”

Dick retorts back at her.

“Yeah, well us ordinary humans are more than capable of cleaning up our own mess. Besides… we have to. Given what happened to Superman.”

I look to Tim who quietly whispers to me:

“He’s dead.”

Barbara quickly brings things back to topic.

“Like I was saying. I don’t care who you do it with, or how you do it. Azrael is going down. Tonight.”

With that, she wheels back away, and starts to secure the Asylum.

Tim and Dick look to me, and in unison one simple question:

“What now?”

I give them one simple reply:

“Azrael goes down. Tonight.”

Instead of GCPD, tomorrow (in the spirit of Christmas) I decided to post a mini series of my favorite BTAS episode, Christmas with the Joker. I will post this series until Christmas day. Next Wednesday I will be flying out to California for a Christmas vacation, but I have photos planned for that. So yeah, stay tuned.

-LegoBatbrick

Mob Boss Carmine Falcone flees along the docks of Gotham from a money laundering ring busted by the GCPD.

Alias: Mad Hatter

Real Name: Jervis Tetch

Gender: Male

Backstory: His parents died when he was still a child, so Jervis spent time in various foster homes. He had his eccentricities, which led to him being unpopular with the other kids. Because of this, he spent time reading the story Alice in Wonderland. The colorful cast of characters always fascinated him, especially the Mad Hatter, as he found himself to be similar in many ways to the character. Time would go on, and Jervis would eventually open up his own hat shop, using mercury in the manufacturing of said hats. It was there, that he would encounter the first of many Alice's. He was struck by her beauty and innocence. He would develop a mind controlling device that he would use on Alice, to make her fall in love with him. The mercury used in manufacturing his hats was slowly causing neurological damage to Jervis. This led to his hat shop being closed down just a week after it opened, due to the dangers of mercury poisoning. The poisoning lead to Jervis losing most of his childhood memories, now truly believing himself to be the Mad Hatter, as that's the only thing he really remembers, besides Alice. Speaking of Alice, she would end up dying, as collateral damage in one of the many gang wars that happened in Gotham. It was at this point Jervis snapped completely. Desperate, he would search for yet another Alice to fall in love with, killing whoever stood in his way, primarily using his mind control devices as a way to get close. During one of his tea parties, Batman would encounter him for the first time. Speaking in rhyme, Jervis would end up losing the fight rather quickly, as he has no fight training. Once in Arkham, Jervis would recite lines from the Alice in Wonderland story, as there was nothing else to do. It would be years before he, along with most other villains in Arkham were broken out, and he would find his next Alice. Unfortunately for him, this Alice didn't last long, as she was one of the White Knight's first victims. It was at this point that he would form the Wonderland Gang, every member being based on one of the characters in the Lewis Caroll story. His current location is unknown to the GCPD at this time.

Alias: Clayface

Real Name: Ethan Bennett

Gender: Male

Backstory: Ethan Bennett was Bruce Wayne's best/only friend growing up. After college however, they ended up not really talking all that much. Ethan, was busy training to become a detective for the GCPD, and Bruce was on his own journey. The next time they would meet, was Bruce as the Dark Knight, and Ethan Bennett, detective of the GCPD. Unlike his partner Ellen Yin, Ethan liked having the Batman around to help out the city. He noticed the good that Batman was doing for the city. Ethan would end up getting captured by Scarecrow while investigating an ongoing case. During his time being captured, he was subjected to Scarecrow's fear gas. He would see his partner, Ellen Yin, falling into a pool, filled with what looked to be a mixture of clay/putty. This would slowly cause him to go insane, eventually resulting in him diving into said pool. It would change his genetic structure forever. Running around as Clayface, Ethan at first wanted to be cured. But the more times he used his powers, the more he realized that he could do anything, and be whoever he wanted to be. He had a short stint as a hero, but it didn't last long before he reverted back into bad habits. One of the many victims caught in the crossfire of the Batman's war on crime. He's currently at large.

Alias: Strix

Real Name: Cassandra Cain

Gender: Female

Backstory: The daughter of David Cain and Lady Shiva, Cassandra was born with selective mutism. Her father used this as a chance to develop the perfect assassin, one able to interpret movement like one does a language. She was unable to communicate with anyone other than her parents. So she would train constantly, with the League of Assassin's. During her first mission however, she learned what it truly meant to kill someone, as she saw Faizul die right before her eyes, her blade jabbed right into his heart. This event scarred her emotionally, which would cause her to leave the League, and set off on her own. For a short time, she would join Haly's Circus as an aerialist. The League wouldn't let her leave so easily however, and chased her down. The Court of Owls saw this as an opportunity, and sent various Talons to bring Cassandra in. The battle between both groups left many casualties, but sure enough, Cassandra left with the remaining Talons, where she would meet the Court of Owls for the first time. Eventually, this leads to her becoming a Talon, called Strix. It's only a matter of time before she encounters the Dark Knight herself. Currently at large.

Alias: Kite-Man

Real Name: Charles Brown

Gender: Male

Backstory: Charles Brown was a boy that was fascinated by kites. The beauty of them flying through the air with such ease. It made him believe men could actually fly one day. Metahumans started to pop up, and proved it was possible. Putting his own crew together, which included Rubberneck, and Patrick O'Brian, Charles would come up with the Kite-Man gang theme. After getting easily caught by the Batman, Charles promised he would change his ways, especially when he learned his wife at the time was pregnant. They allowed him to see the birth of his son, with guards around of course. A couple years later, Charles was sprung out of prison by his cousin, Arthur Brown, aka Cluemaster. All Charles wanted to do was be there for his boy, and teach him everything he's learned. So he did. But when the inevitable war roared its ugly head, Charles would take his cousin's side. A costly mistake on his end, as he found his boy dead the next day. This turn of events lead to his wife leaving him. Upon learning Riddler was behind his son's death, he waited patiently, for a chance of revenge. Considered a joke by everyone, Charles Brown would prove everyone wrong, at least this one time. Being underestimated, Riddler's team didn't expect what came next. Having the last laugh, Charles would manage tricking Riddler's team into wearing a special type of kite, which ended up flying them into the Bat-Blimp. Charles was given a minute head start for his assistance, but he didn't get very far, and once again, was put away. Since then, he's formed the Aerialists, hoping to find respect in the villain community.

Alias: Copperhead

Real Name: Larissa Diaz

Gender: Female

Backstory: Larissa Diaz grew up known as the sister of Ricardo Diaz Jr, who was also known as the new Richard Dragon.

Her brother became a member of the league of assassin's and trained under the original Richard Dragon before he killed him. Larissa not wanting to be in her brothers shadow, left to Gotham, where she thought she could start a new life. It was there that she would encounter even more darkness than in Star City. She was lost, until Nathan Prince (known to most of the underworld as Copperhead), found her, and decided to take her under his wing. Grateful for his help, she would train under him, becoming one of Gotham's most lethal assassin's. Once she learned everything she could from Nathan, she would kill him, just like how her brother killed the original Richard Dragon. From then on, she would be an assassin for hire, eliminating the most difficult of targets for her clients. Currently at large.

It has been 2 months since the event that led to most of Batman’s rogue gallery breaking out of the Arkham Asylum, and Bruce Wayne has not gotten much rest ever since then. Even though he has already succeeded in taking in a few of his most prominent villains, a majority of them are still loose and wreaking havoc in Gotham. As Alfred watches Bruce breaking down more and more with each passing night, he proposes the idea of him getting a sidekick to help out with his nightly activities.

After being rescued by Batman from one of the Joker’s earliest crimes that resulted in his parents going missing, the young Duke Thomas has been stuck in the foster system for years. Despite starting out as an exemplary child, his reluctance to accept his parents are most likely dead and his attempts to find clues about his parents whereabouts have led to several fights and encounters with the GCPD. Events like these led to a couple of his former foster parents putting him back in the system, making both Duke and the people in charge of the system fear that he would never be fit to live in a foster family. But they found hope again after millionaire Bruce Wayne signed on to become a foster parent who got assigned to take care of Duke.

Shortly after arriving in Wayne Manor late at night and showing Duke around the house, Bruce suddenly spots the Bat-Signal in the air. Upon calling Alfred to finish the tour around the house he quickly excuses himself and walks away to suit up as the Dark Knight once again. Duke becomes suspicious that Bruce is hiding something, and soon after Alfred finishes the tour he explores the house on his own to find out what he was up to. Upon locating Bruce’s office in the massive mansion, he begins to look around to find any evidence. After pulling a couple of books about bats out of the shelf he suddenly hears a click as the bookshelf makes way for a hidden elevator.

As Batman arrives at the Bat-Signal where usually Commissioner James Gordon is standing alone waiting for him to arrive, he notices another figure next to him. Gordon introduces him to Barbara Gordon, his daughter. Since his retirement is nearing closer and closer and due to Barbara just finishing her training for the police corps, she will replace him once he retires. He hands him a datapad displaying a message from a couple of Batman’s worst enemies; The Penguin and Mr. Freeze. After Freeze displays the power of his new cybernetic arm capable of turning people into blocks of ice within seconds, the two make their demands. If they don’t get 30 million dollars within the next week to use to find a cure for Freeze’s terminally ill wife, he will engulf the city of Gotham in ice making it inhabitable for months. After deciding to leave this matter to the major first before taking action themselves, James gives Batman a small bit of intel some of his colleagues have gathered on a different subject; another vigilante calling herself Batwoman dressed in a suit similar to what he himself wears with yellow accents has been spotted fighting crime on the streets, even managing to put Polka-Dot Man back behind bars. Batman assures him that he doesn’t know who the other vigilante is and that he is not connected to him. Right before he leaves, he notices that Barbara looks way more nervous than before, but he doesn't think much of it.

Upon returning to the Batcave, the only place where Bruce could be his true self, he sees that Duke has already figured out what is hidden under Wayne Manor as he’s looking around in the cave at the things stored in there. He gets scared at first as he notices Batman standing behind him, but quickly pulls himself together since he has admired him for years. Duke explains how he recalls how scared he was when the Joker kidnapped both him and his parents, and how relieving it was to get saved by Batman. After remembering the situation Batman decides to take the plunge, and reveals to Duke that the person who saved him at a young age and his new foster parent are one and the same. As soon as he processed this new information, Bruce offers to train him in order for him to potentially become his sidekick. Duke happily agrees, and soon the two begin training together.

As the days pass and as Duke gets way more and more skilled, Bruce decides to take him with him on night patrol to see how he holds up in real combat situations. To his surprise he turns out to be a great aid in a fight against a couple of regular criminals, even managing to hold his own against some of them. Meanwhile, Bruce tries to stay in contact with Gordon for any updates on the mayor’s decision on the threat from Freeze and Penguin. As the final day rolls around with still no updates on the situation, Bruce gets sick of waiting for her to make a decision and chooses to handle it himself despite her orders. After suiting up himself, he gives Duke a bright red costume to wear if he thinks he is capable of aiding him in a fight against a couple of supervillains. He accepts the challenge, and gives himself an alias to use during battle: Robin.

Shortly after figuring out the current whereabouts of Mr. Freeze and The Penguin, Batman and Robin get in the Batmobile to take them down before Gotham becomes covered in ice. As they arrive at their hideout, an abandoned factory in the slums of the city, the two park the Batmobile near the place and sneak into the factory. Upon locating the room where the supervillains are in, Batman immediately notices an obstacle; dozens of Penguin’s henchmen, all dressed in penguin outfits are scattered around the room while being armed with heavy guns. As if that wasn’t enough, he also spots the other vigilante Commissioner Gordon was talking about, Batwoman, sneaking in through one of the broken windows. Before he can talk to the vigilante to see if she is planning to fight against or with him and Robin, she jumps down to the frozen floor to directly confront the two supervillains. Although she succeeds in taking down three of the henchmen after landing, she is no match for the cybernetic arm of Freeze. He points it at her and fires a couple of shots, freezing everything in its way as they land. Batwoman narrowly avoids the first bunch of shots but gets hit by the last one, prompting Batman and Robin to intervene. As they jump down Batman throws a smoke grenade at the ground to avoid getting shot down by Freeze, quickly moving the vigilante to a safe spot in the ice cold room.

After injecting her with a Miraclo Formula Shot to help her recover from getting hit by the ice blast, the three form a plan to take down the Penguin and Freeze. As the smoke begins to clear more and more they set the plan in motion; as Robin takes out the henchmen of Penguin, Batman and Batwoman first take out Freeze as they find him more of a threat than the Penguin. While Batman acts as a distraction, Batwoman quickly succeeds in making his cybernetic arm useless with an EMP grenade. The henchmen are no match for Robin either, as he beats them one by one. As both Freeze and his henchmen are unable to protect the Penguin anymore, he reluctantly surrenders to the heroes. As the police start on the scene, Mr. Freeze begs Batman for one thing; making sure his wife won't be harmed in his absence. Although he doesn't want to give any sympathy to the person who threatened to freeze the entirety of Gotham just a few days prior, he eventually agrees to do so due to how much Freeze cares about his wife’s well-being.

Following the police’s arrival at the scene and the apprehension of Mr. Freeze and The Penguin, Commissioner Gordon thanks Batman, Robin and Batwoman for saving the city. Seeing how Batwoman acted around the Commissioner leads Batman to put the pieces together; Barbara Gordon, the promising new police recruit, is actually a vigilante at night. As the two villains get taken back to Arkham Asylum, Batman receives an odd message from an unknown number, asking if he wants to answer a riddle.

--Arkham Asylum- Black Mask's Cell--

Guard- Mr Sionis? There's a man here wanting to see you

Sionis- Bring him in, by all means

*The Guard brings Gaige into Sionis' cell*

Sionis- That will be all, guard

Gaige- Roman. You look well for someone who's been in an Asylum for two months

Sionis- Well, you have to bury your feelings. It's really the only way to get by in a place like this

Gaige- Bullshit. I know you've been continuing your operations from within these walls.

Sionis- Good to know. Now, if you were just here to check up on me-

Gaige- No. I need a favour

Sionis- A favour? Please Gaige, you're an outcast. I can't be seen helping you.

Gaige- Dammit Roman! Drury's in trouble. Again. Some bastard recorded him killing the Blaze and now it appears he'll be removed from office. Unless I can talk to Trump

Sionis- I'm sorry, it sounds to me like you want my help extorting the President

Gaige- That's exactly what I want. He's staying in a hotel, your hotel, The Gotham Royal. If you'd give me the access codes to the penthouse suite

Sionis- Then I'd be committing treason. What would I be getting out of this?

Gaige- A favour.

Sionis- Any favour?

Gaige- Yes goddammit. Do we have a deal?

Sionis- Of course. What are friends for?

===Van Cleer Manor===

*Drury's on the floor talking to a hallucination of the Blaze. Unbeknownst to him, Scarecrow is watching--

Blaze- I'm beginning to believe that Zodiac Master does not have our best interests at heart

Drury- Possibly

Blaze- Bastard. I'd strangle him myself if I wasn't- 'urgh'

Drury- What do you want me to say?

Blaze- Sorry maybe? I couldn't even cancel my dinner reservations

Drury- I'm not apologising to a stupid figment of my imagination!

Blaze- "You are tearing me apart Drury!" Do we still like that film? Or did the other night ruin it for you?

Drury- Go to hell

Blaze- Already there you know

Drury- Thought this was supposed to be a nightmare. Can't say I'm particularly spooked

Blaze- Yeah, I've a theory about that. What you fear.

Drury- Oh really?

Blaze- Yep. Your greatest fear isn't a King of Cats orgy or Ted Carson's beach bod or whatever else you spouted at the funeral home. It's that I was right. You're a bad dad Mr Mayor.

Drury- Me a bad dad? I must really be going crazy

Crane- Now we're making a breakthrough...

Blaze- Yeah. No use denying it pal. Simon was a teen pregnancy wasn't he? You had the twins shortly after? For most of their lives you've been off waging war on Batman and the GCPD. Hardly a good role model! Look at the evidence man: Axel's been in and out of Iron Heights so many times I've lost count; Kitten has severe abandonment issues, she acts like she's five; And Simon? He fricking died! No magic gem changes the fact you watched Eobard Thawne put his hand in your boy's chest and rip out his heart. And then you couldn't even protect his body! Ted Carson and his C-List cronies blew it to pieces! And maaaybe you've had a tough life. But honestly, who do you know who hasn't? My family burned to death. I was a firefighter back then and I still couldn't save them! Do you know what I would have done to raise kids again? Do you? Well, I guess we'll never know eh? ... All I wanted to do was to try and be better than I was. To try. Did you ever try Drury? All those birthday parties you missed because you were too busy chasing flying rodents and drinking with crazed pyros to spend time with your kids

Drury- God... I'm sorry Jim

*Scarecrow starts to whisper in Drury's ear, he hears his words as Blaze*

Crane- Sorry doesn't change anything. Not really. I'm still dead. 3 of your kids still grew up without their father.

Drury- You're right.

Crane- You must realise there's only one way for things to change

Drury- Yes.

*Scarecrow hands Drury a gun.

Crane- Do it.

*A gun goes off, but it's not Drury's. Miranda shoots the gun out of his hand*

Miranda- Get away from my husband you lanky prick

*She shoots Crane in the chest, injuring but not killing him*

Crane- You... whore

Drury- Miranda? Is that you?

Miranda- I'm here Drury. I'm here

The Ten-Eyed Man

Philip Reardon AKA The Ten-Eyed Man is a Vietnam Veteran who lost his sight during the war. Getting to come home early because of his injuries Reardon "looked" all over the country to find a doctor who could fix his eyes. Eventually after decades of searching and being taken care of by his family Reardon found a man by the name of the Crime Doctor who used illegal surgery methods to give Reardon back his sight. Reardon, however, was not happy with the results. He ran out of the doctor's office and onto the street where he started attacking civilians. He was promptly arrested by the GCPD and was put in Arkham due to insanity and severe PTSD that resurfaced due to his "eyes." Reardon has had specialized gloves put on his hands to stop him from trying to escape. A guard feeds him. Recently however he escaped when one of his gloves and ripped during a riot and has supposedly tried to join both Black Mask's and Penguin's gangs to no avail.

Ono- Vroom vroom.

Wrath- It’s a crime that I'm being arrested! I helped stopped that signal son of a bitch!

Artie- Yes, but you also slaughtered the GCPD in a druken haze.

Wrath- I wasn't drunk! I don’t know what Firefly puts in his hip flask but I know it’s wasn't liquor!

Billings- Gasoline. I speak from past trauma

Ono- Vroom. Vroom

Wrath- Hey, what’s his problem?

Artie- Ono? He only speaks in sound effects

Wrath- Fucking Hell. How long?

Artie- I reckon since birth

Ono- You could just ask me. It’s a life choice you plebeians.

Wrath- Well, could you stop? It’s really irritating

Ono- I could. But I won’t

Wrath- Oh, when I get out of here, you’re a dead man!

Billings- Well, when I’m free, I think I'll going into writing. You, Brown?

Artie- I’m cauterising this wound.

*Artie reveals a bloodied, infected stump to his horrified companions*

Wrath- What the hell happened to your hand?!

Artie- Ratcatcher happened. I’m fortunate he put my hand in ice. If only I knew where he had put it...

Billings- That’s just not right... Those bloody Misfits... all three of you victims of Killer Moth and his crew of incapable invalids. You, Wrath, wouldn’t have been caught if not for Lynns. And you two? Well Ratcatcher really pulled a number on you both...

Artie- Yeah, what I wouldn’t give to finally kill that bastard.

Billings- What if I could help with-

*The van stops suddenly*

Ono- Thud.

Wrath- What’d you just call me?

Artie- Sound effects. Remember?

Wrath-... Right.

Guard- You freaks stay here, I’m checking it out

*The guard is quickly shot in the head*

Ono- Bang

*The doors open and standing outside, is Mr Moth*

Billings- Excuse me, I kinda had a revolution in the works here-

Mr. Moth- Greetings children! I am your saviour, Mr Moth. All I ask in exchange for your freedom is one little thing- The Death of the Misfits!

Wrath- Great. Just what Gotham needed- another lousy bug villain

————————

Mr. Moth-*On phone* Remember Carson, you’re looking for criminals with vendettas against the Misfits. Except for Zodiac. Bring me back Zodiac and I’ll kill you. You know, for what, the sixth time?

Carson- Yeah yeah, I got it. All those has-beens frequent this joint.

Bouncer- Back of the line pal.

Carson- And who are you to command me?

Bouncer- The name’s Bouncer. I’m... the bouncer.

Carson- I guess with that name there weren’t many other careers paths you could take. Tell me ‘Bouncer’, what’s with the line?

Bouncer- Football.

Carson- American or Soccer?

Bouncer- The one with the ball... Look, we're full. How about you find another drinking spot eh?

Carson- I'm not here to drink, I'm-

Bouncer- Then you're not here to pay. Get lost.

Carson- I don't think you're getting this "bud," I'm Ted Carson!

Bouncer- Lovely. Still not letting you in.

Carson- Then I'll have to use- *force*!

*Carson throws Bouncer onto the ground and is about to make his way inside when-*

Bouncer- What have you done?!

Carson- What? I barely touched-

Bouncer- I can’t... control..

noooooooooo!

*Bouncer flies off the ground, bouncing off just about everything before tumbling into the great unknown. Thinking the situation at last over, Carson fails to account for the gun now being cocked behind him*

Eraser- Beat it shithead, before I call the cops. No, wait, bad idea. Beat it or... I’ll shoot your head clean off your shoulders

Carson- Fine! I’m going!

*Carson groans realising that Mr. Moth would likely kill him, if go back empty handed, but as fate would have it, there was a strange faceless man, perfect, thought Carson, though he was rather unnerved by the skinless corpse on the ground. It reminded him of his own fate, after all, not too long ago, the Tiger Shark had gone and skinned him. Used him as a fashion accessory. The man couldn't exactly speak, instead mumbling incoherently*

Dr. No-Face- *Hmm, that’s no good. It’s too fat. And generic. And hairy. I want to be dashing not... perverted*

Carson- Yo man! Want to do your pal Carson a solid?

Dr No-Face- Nw thts uh fc I cn wrk wth.

Carson- Was that a yes? It’s just...you don’t have any lips...

Dr No-Face- Uh ys...

Carson- Huh? Just nod for fucks sake!

*No Face grumbles to no one in particular, and at last nods, giving a longing glance at Carson's partially uncovered face*
