Back in the 90s milk trucks were driving every morning in the living blocks and the locals were buying fresh unpasterized milk for everyday use. Later more people could afford packeted and bottled milk and considered such delivery as unsanitary. In 2012 I was very surprised to see one still selling milk in the city and couldn't walk by.

GAZ-24-10 Volga (1985-1992) in Batumi

Well curiosity got the better of me and I decided to see what the flame from the gas torch looked like without any other lighting.

The answer I guess, is pretty dull :)

Only one way to frame it really, without the nozzle of the torch it has no context.

I suppose it looks more like a logo like this, maybe there is a gas company in need of one :)

Oh well, some you win, some you dont :) It was still fun to do and thats the general aim here.

These lovely old Soviet cars were only available to government officials and the KGB, so I wonder where this one spent its former life before ending up in this museum. Does anyone know where the numberplate comes from?

"I hate cameras.

They interfere, they're always in the way. I wish:

If I could work with my eye alone. To get a satisfactory print, one that contains all that you intend, is very often more difficult and dangerous than sitting itself.

When I'm photographing, I immediately know when I've got the image I really want. But to get the image out of the camera and into the open, is another matter."
