This collection of locks and chains caught my eye.

One of the finest posts. Although the house is on the corner of Preston New Road the gatepost is actually on West Park Road.

Grade II listed (Screen wall to South elevation with central gates and public conveniences to rear), (pair of gateposts surmounted by urns with wrought iron gates)

The Public Lavatories have long gone. And behind is now the Library.
