We’re here visiting antiques, yesteryear, and retro.

Not sure this counts as an antique, but this is a 1977 original double vinyl original score from Star Wars so it definitely counts as retro. I don’t even own a record player anymore but I love this. The gatefold sleeve opens up to show lots of stills from the movie. This is the rear cover which I find kinda cool.

A double sided puzzle of the two Beatles compilation albums, 1962-1966 and 1967-1970. Not the best quality but a pleasant slice of nostalgia.

We assembled the "Red Album" side and turned it over to show the "Blue Album" side afterwards.

We owned both these albums on vinyl back in the 70s, but now have all the tracks on CDs.

Hee hee! This was when we used to have 'portrait duels',

to see who could take a picture from a standing start the

quickest. Poor old Milo's only just got the lens cap off!

Look at his face!

Eventually, Miles put an end to our fun, with extreme prejudice.

Gatefold card - floral panel offset so extends beyond the right "gate." Watercolored and glittered. Frame hand drawn, as well as lines down left side.

Small gatefold brochure for dvGreen, a sustainable event production company. Measures 3.50 x 4.25 inches and fits in your pocket (admit it...every vertical tri-fold brochure you pick up gets folded in half and dropped in your bag or coat pocket). Also, we based our sizing decision on the long standing theory that "small equals cute" (see: puppies, kittens). Some still had doubts, so I added the smiling snail just in case.

I have plans for a tribute to Amanda Hope, Playboy's Miss June 1992, who was on active duty in the US Army when she shot her gatefold and had been discharged by the time the magazine hit the stands. She posed very memorably in woodland camouflage BDUs going fully commando under them. I put together this figure (S29B body with Saintess Knight blonde head, Hot Plus bra/panty/garter set, with Dragon Models BDU and boonie from an unknown manufacturer), but then decided I wanted to do one closer to Miss Hope (whose build was much closer to an S17B body).

I had taken off the blouse from this figure to the one that will be the model for the real shoot, and then decided I wanted to so a few shots with this figure before I dismantled her.

Another crappy sounding iPhone video of an awesome Movie soundtrack!

Uploading this Track for Pascal Rey and Linda ( i really hope u get a copy of this !!!)

I played the 2 LP Gatefold Set with Dark-blue/Dark Green Vinyl which u can't see due to the filter added.....

For Fact: This song ( Big rock Candy Mountains) is the Original 1928 Recording (sic!) with Harry McClintock singing, pressed on this vinyl and for a Recording being so old, its just sounds amazingly (restored?)....

From the very awesome Hannah Waldron (same Illustrator behind the book 'Rain Day'), she now has these screen printed cards!

8 different owl designs to choose from, screenprinted in 3 colours and using a pearlescent yellow ink and hand stamped with a letter template on the reverse, each mini letter comes with a mini hand stamped envelope.

Packaged in a gatefold cellophane envelope.

Now nesting at the little dröm store, hee!

Arty Short Eared Owl -Lunt Meadows. A Change from the norm I decided to have a go at a Art type shot of one of my Lunt Short Eared owls -Its different but I like it. :) I could imagine some obscure Progressive Rock band from the 1970's Having this as a gatefold sleeve :)

Steely Dan, Greatest Hits, 1978 (Gatefold, 2 Vinyl Set)

For years I have wanted this as a desktop wallpaper but there just were not any good images out there. So I made my own, extended the ship so you could see the entire right side of the ship which is normally cut off on the LP. Original art by Gary Norman, retouched and extended by Darvin Atkeson.

Enjoy and check out my other Boston band artwork.
