as one of the "red carpet four" who gatecrashed the gala dinner at cop15, our friend and fellow activist christian "chrigi" schmutz is still being held in a danish prison despite the personal intervention of our foreign minister micheline calmy-rey. to mark the 14th day of chrigi's unjust imprisonment and to again demand his release, we saw in the new year outside the danish embassy in bern.

You know that sometimes the oddest things really grab a youngster's attention? Well, this year, for Robert, that was duck apple. He got hugely excited about duck apple.
Well, we did it virtually - one set in his house, one set in ours, and a seemingly pre-meditated plan to get Uncle Pete very, very wet was put into action.

Courtship between male and female Meadow Browns is brief. The male showers the female with scent scales from his sex brands which act as an aphrodisiac that seduces the female and mating quickly follows!! After a couple of days the female starts to lay her batch of several hundred eggs.
For some unexplained reason, this species occasionally pairs with other species, such as the Gatekeeper, although no offspring result.

the first court hearing is tomorrow.
