I bought some delicious tomatoes at the farmer's market, and want to try to grow them myself next year. Turns out it's kind of an icky process to get tomato seeds ready to plant. .

This is step one: not icky at all. yet.

left to right - tomato, tomatillo, zucchini. all in the ground 2 weeks (but they were seedlings already)
