My little garden project - day 2. I didn't quite finish today. Maybe tomorrow... :o)

2001 to date. Ongoing garden project to build a retaining wall. Never started yet!

The listings for Melbourne Hall gardens include quite a few putti and cherubs on pedestals at various points around the Grand Basin. Frankly, I can't remember which is which of any of this bunch!

Some things I forgot when I uploaded the other photos. Vista to the ha ha.

The reconstructed garden at Kenilworth, originally built by Robert Dudley (Earl of Leicester) for Elizabeth I. At the centre stands an 18 feet high carrara marble fountain. The garden reconstruction is based on archaeological findings and contemporary documents.

Masking out with cling film and tape is such a bad idea.

I'll never ever do that again!
