Yet another from my wanderings off Queen Street West in Toronto... This is a set of garbage bins in the (local) standard, attractive blue colour, carefully selected to provide an attractive colour contrast or harmony (your call) with the free-form graffiti (if you interpret the term loosely) painted onto the set of panels in this back alley. Fortunately, the trash bins are labeled 'Garbage Only', either to identify their purpose or provide an artistic opinion on the background. You just never know what you are going to find, - JW

Taken using a hand-held Nikon D5000 fitted with a Nikkor 18-105mm VR lense set to 32 mm, ISO200, Aperture priority mode, f/8.0, 1/160 sec. PP in GIMP: simply a minor tone curve adjustment to crisp up the colours a bit, sharpen, add fine black and white border as well as the bar and text on the left, scale to 1024 wide for posting.

Mynd 25. 1/4'th done of the project. I have been having some garbage problems in my back yard becouse the garbage collectors can't access my garbage.

So this is my litle demonstration against Vodafone, My city and the workers that built a trench so the garbage collectors couldnt access my garbage.

Fucking garbage trucks. They make ungodly noise early in the morning. They stop where they want, block traffic as long as they feel like it, and are impervious to horns. I guess if you pick up heavy, smelly trash bags all day, you don't care about pissing off anyone else. And if they happen to block both sides of a two-lane street, tough. This is why I never feel bad about cutting one off in traffic.
