Please don't leave any garbage bags outside of the gate. Look back. The camera is watching you. No deje basura afuera di la reja. Los estamos mirando. Tenants of 35-20 garbage only. Do not leave garbage outside of gate. Keep gate closed. 35-20 35th Street, Astoria, Queens, NY.
The social harm that I chose to depict was pollution. It's not
just in New York City; the world is a very dirty place and we
don't do our part to keep it clean and livable. The pictures
that I took graze just the surface of all the pollution we have.
It shows that we don't care for our planet or the future of
humankind.

The sheer volume of garbage that has been dropped off so far is astounding, and residents keep coming and bringing more in. Much of it is stuff that the garbage collectors wouldn't normally pick up anyway. We speculate that many residents are dropping their garbage off now and avoiding having to pay the drop-off fees at the dump.
