Mind the Gap is the day when we acknowledge the fact that tuition dollars “run out” and donors step up to fill the gap. We can explain:
Tuition only covers about 75% of the cost of students' education. Tuition could be $50,000 but because alumni, parents, foundations, and friends are helping fill the gap, students pay much less each year. Last year over 4,000 alumni made a gift to support students' education. These gifts help support every student, professor, program, and department on campus.
This special day celebrates the generous donors who give money to the College to help make students' education possible.

With a full 8mm extension of the PFA tube, it is impossible to close the gap between the aluminum plate and wooden plate. The screws are cranked down as tight as I can get them, and I also clamped the wood and aluminum plates tightly with some pliers while tightening the screws, so I know the PFA tube is really bottomed out securely on the PEEK/brass.
In the covered shopping arcade in Kitakami is a gap. There is a monument to the left that has been mostly blocked off by the drink machines but the snow still blows in. The pole is reflected in a kimono shop window!
