One of those days where only a few will do; only the right words, the right delivery person, and the right arms to hold you tight for this fight. Someone to make the tired nonsense fly the coup and leave behind strong hearts--stronger--and held close long enough to last the days ahead. Until we can visit and begin again this filling of the gaps, my gaps.

When Rob showed me this drop off I knew he would launch himself down it at some point. We went to film this straight after waking up. After landing rear wheel first, Rob ended up on his arse. It was not tried again!

Great Allegheny Passage @ Frostburg, Maryland
Went up on a ridge near our house to view the Gap Fire. The smoke plume was huge and blocked the sunlight. We took a drive near the evacuation area, it was completely dark, smoky, gusty, and ashy. Very eerie.
Depicted here is the steel truss Western Maryland Railroad Bridge. It was constructed in 1910 as part of the Connellsville Extension. The bridge consists of two spans, each 150 feet in length. It now serves the Great Allegheny Passage and Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. Note the Historic National Raod on th left and the long-gone tracks of the Georges Creek & Cumberland Railroad on the lower right.

Had a good trip with Alan to Hadrians wall today,we were blessed with good sky's and very few people,had to post a shot of what must be the most photographed tree in the North of England the sycamore at sycamore gap also known as the Robin Hood tree after scenes from Robin Hood film were filmed here,
