The Queens Gambit on a vintage chess board and table from the 1960's L1003464

The view from home wasn't too inspiring when I got into the car this morning - there were stars overhead and (apprently) a very large cloudbank on the horizon - "Well there goes that" I thought - "still I'm up and out so lets get on with it".

Five minutes later I turned the corner onto Bass Point Tourist rd and saw the hint of colour under the cloudbank, and .. all the worries evaporated..

Walking down the beach to catch the sun aligned with the headland, the rocks and reflections kept bugging me, I was early, so yeah I gave in and got the gear out to catch that sliver of moon and the pre dawn glow (and those rocks of course)..

Olympus OM-1 w M.Zuiko 7-14/2.8 Pro

ISO400 f/11 11mm 60s for the foreground (built in ND64) and 2s for the sky/moon.
