Such a beautiful 1958 Ford Pick Up that I saw for sale as I was driving down Preston Ave. In Meriden,CT today. I pulled over and got my cellphone out to get a few pics.
Larose, Louisiana is a small community located in coastal Lafourche Parish. The population is about 6,000 with a local Cajun culture that is unique in Louisiana itself. The climate is semitropical and influenced by the Gulf of Mexico. The community lines Bayou Lafourche and the Intracoastal Canal, most of the land is low at around sea level surrounded by a levee. Coastal erosion is a big issue and threatens the very existance of this one of a kind place.

Located on the Louisiana Gulf Coast, unique Grand Isle is a place like no other. About 5 miles long with a population of about 1200. The beaches have brown sand due to being near the mouth of the Mississippi River. The island is a popular vacation spot for beachgoers, sport fishermen and anyone looking to take a break from the fast paced life of the Louisiana cities. Grand Isle is a unique corner of the world for sure.

De son vrai nom Martha Jane Canary , Calamity est née en 1852. Cette photo date de fin juillet 1903 quelques jours avant sa mort le 1er août 1903, posant comme pour dire, "je tire ma révérence" !
Elle a été prise au Mount Moriah Cemetery à Deadwood (Dakota du Sud) a côté de la tombe de son ami et compagnon Wild Bill Hickok. Selon ses voeux elle a été inhumée près de la tombe de ce dernier.
