Wednesday I cycled 17km along the Galloping Goose Trail from Sooke Potholes Upper parking lot to Leechtown and back.

N.B. Riding my pedelec (electric-assist) bike, it was 30 minutes from Sooke Potholes Parking Lot #2 (upper) outbound and 20 minutes on the DH (DownHill) coming back. Yes!
Wednesday morning I cycled 38km roundtrip from home to Ross Bay Seawall and return.
The route was McClung Library/ Lochside at Borden to Switchbridge/ Galloping Goose Trail to Fort St./ Fort to Vancouver Bikeway to Beacon Hill Park/ Lover's Lane to Dallas Road Bike Path at Cook St./ Cook to St. Charles St. at eastern end of Ross Bay Waterfront Trail (construction zone).
Monday morning we cycled 19km along the loop formed by the Galloping Goose Trail and the E&N Rail Trail
Walked 3800m roundtrip (2⅓miles) up The Grind, over a mountain, thru a university and back home.

N.B.I bought this item without knowing exactly all its functions. I wanted a skull cap for winter cycling but this item turned out to be everything-all-in-one: Neck scarf, skull cap, balaclava, cagoule and face cover. Don't leave home in the cool weather without it. It's made from space-age material so is well worth its cost ($28 CND at Mountain Equipment Co-op)).

N.B. There is no parking here for vehicles as before there was space for approximately a dozen units.
Thursday I cycled 61km roundtrip outbound along the Interurban Rail Trail and inbound along the Lochide Trail.
