Gouda - Museum Gouda
Museum Gouda is the treasure house of Gouda. The museum has a collection of altar paintings from the sixteenth century that is unique in the Netherlands. These were lost everywhere during the Iconoclasm, except in Gouda! The collection also includes seventeenth-century militia pieces and Gouda pottery from the twentieth century.

This was the 1st campground on the backpack trip. It was 6 miles down the trail from Chief Mountain (start). Glad it was only that far b/c the trail kinda kicked my butt on the way here. Though it was mostly downhill, there were some very muddy patches & it was hard to see the trail in some places due to really thick vegetation on the ground. And of course I hadn't backpacked for 15 years & was getting used to the pack all over again. But we made it. Here's a series of pics of the campground early in the morning on the 2nd day of the trip as we were preparing to leave.
