@Newtown Creek Waterfront Nature Walk during OHNY (Open House New York). Since we missed our tour, JP and I went for a walk in this public walkway along Newtown Creek.
This is the rear view of a hermit crab's shell. The 'fuzz' is a Cnidarian species that probably will be impossible to identify without a collected sample.

It was the day full of excitement and endless new possibility. The day where she will know, forever, if the choice she was feeling was the right one. She had looked forward to this moment for many moons and suns and had anticipated and excited all prospects of this day. She did bum herself out, however, with her behavior the previous night... And had to get by on skeleton sleep with a fuzzed up head. Still, she had the time of her life.
