Having seen much better days when she was a popular automobile and passenger ferry working for the Owen Sound Transportation Company, the 1950 built MS Norgoma sits quietly near the massive blast furnaces at Algoma Steel on the Canadian side of Sault Ste Marie. Her sailing days ended 1974 after being replaced by a much larger ferry, and after a stint as a museum ship from 1974 until 2019 when she was moved to her current spot. Given the fate of her sister as the Norisle was recently hauled off to Port Colborne for scrapping though, it’s unfortunate to say that this old girl very well could meet the same fate.

Mural entitled "Future Positive" by Kevin Ledo aka @kevinledo and @findac, curated by @therawproject_, seen at the Cheltenham Elementary School at 1580 Julien Street in Denver, Colorado.

The artist (Kevin Ledo) states: "On the right is Rihelle, a student that goes to the school that I photographed for this piece. On and the left is one of Fin’s muses, @christel_lakhdar who shares a resemblance which creates a beautiful narrative."

The beach at Glen Haven was showing a black layer up to an inch thick. Some clever people created a hand print record that reminds me of the prints in James Rollins "Bone Labyrinth".

This is part of my "Alaska - The Clueless Days" collection; photos I took light years ago when I had no idea how to shoot with models, how to use a digital camera, or how to use flash.

If I remember correctly this was an unplanned shoot. It was Valentines Day, Anna wasn't working that day, so she just popped over to my house and we did this fun shoot. Anna was an absolute delight to shoot with - what a sweetheart!

I took these photos on Valentines Day 2004 in Anchorage, Alaska.

The photo was taken last summer. An ordinary lad living in a remote barrio in the town of Pantoc, Zaroga, Nueva Ecija. The future seems uncertain from his look, which I believe he can’t choose but can do something about it... What future is set for him?

The ESA JVT (Jovian Transfer Vessel) Europa 3 launched in 2065 ferrying crew and supplies to Jupiter's satellites. Europa 3 was powered by a single large magnetised target fusion engine which allowed for journeys measured in weeks instead of months. And with four centrifugal gravity habs and a multiple layer radiation shielding, passengers (generally) arrived fit for work and still talking to each other...

...So I think it's still September 2019 somewhere on Earth, which means I made it. 116 (I think!) studs of pure frustration and Shiptastic joy.

Isn't she cute with that doll on her back? She's learning to do just like every adults around her. They use those blankets, or "awayu" to carry everything from babies to groceries.
