A Boston Food Bank employee trains the group on food safety, sorting, and the Food Bank's history before they begin their volunteer work. FUP participants did everything from sorting food to weighing and breaking down boxes.

The Japanese magazine next to her has some great pictures of Fup as a much younger cat. She just turned 18 (July 2006), and tends to hang around the employee backroom mostly, though I'm told she still roams the stacks.
She is much beloved by the Powells staff, who have created t-shirts, gift cards, and stickers in her honor.
