Pipes outside No.1 Whitehall Riverside. I've no idea whether they are functional or are just there to provide interest. Whichever, they certainly caught my eye, as they look just like ships' ventilators.

When you start seeing your feathered friends congregating in dark alleyways or under mulberry bushes and talking in hushed whispers, it's time to give them their own meeting space. Enter the Secret Hideout Bird House. Carefully designed for those birds that prefer blending into the background and not being noticed, the textured moss green finish on this house closely resembles tree bark and other natural surroundings. When hung from a long nail in a quiet spot, the Hideout will quickly become a favorite for secret-agent cavity-dweller types.

I've been making hedgehogs for a little while now, and while I've received requests for other animals, I honestly hadn't really considered making them.
However, I had a dream recently that literal clay raccoons found there way into my last apartment. Normally when I find animals where they shouldn't be I do my best to relocate them --I'm so glad that snapping turtles can reach back only so far with their necks, or I might be throwing in a different way-- Sorry for the digression, in this dream I had tried to shoo two clay raccoons back out of the apartment and down the three story fire escape.
My attempts at being gentle resulted in one of the raccoons getting punted out the door and down three stories, and the other getting squished by the door. Apparently these clay raccoons had very convincing clay guts.
Although I couldn't save them in the dream, I knew that it was perhaps the right time to start making other animals. #animal #animalbank #bank #coinbank #piggybank #clay #ceramic #stoneware #pottery #sculpture #handmade #wheel #wheelthrown #raccoon #trickster #functional #claytoy #toy

Functional testing is a key element for enhancing the quality of the developed software. The risks of releasing a new product without rigorous QA have greater implications now than ever before because of the change in expectations and demands of the end users.
My Lego telehandler is loosely based on CAT TL642. Buwizz and iPad are used to control it remotely. There are four motorized functions: drive with PF L motor, boom elevation with PF L motor, fork tilt with M motor, and steering with PF servo. Front wheels are driven through a differential, and the rear axle has a simple suspension. Overall, it is maneuverable, easy to control thanks to the proportional control of Buwizz, and very fun to play with. Please watch the video for a demonstration. As with the gullwing doors on the original 300SL racing coupe, these side vents were originally a purely functional addition to solve a practical problem: how to get heated air out from under the hood at high speed. (Even the road cars were capable of 150+ mph, and the racing cars were topping out at 175.) But the solution was so beautiful that it was adopted, even in non-functional form, on many other sports cars of the Fifties.
