No proprietary dongle, and the decision to use multiple connectors (rather than a single USB cord) means instant driverless playtime.
This antique Singer Sewing Machine had been part of my fashion collection sine the mid 1980. It is people powered!

My Lego telehandler is loosely based on CAT TL642. Buwizz and iPad are used to control it remotely. There are four motorized functions: drive with PF L motor, boom elevation with PF L motor, fork tilt with M motor, and steering with PF servo. Front wheels are driven through a differential, and the rear axle has a simple suspension. Overall, it is maneuverable, easy to control thanks to the proportional control of Buwizz, and very fun to play with. Please watch the video for a demonstration. As with the gullwing doors on the original 300SL racing coupe, these side vents were originally a purely functional addition to solve a practical problem: how to get heated air out from under the hood at high speed. (Even the road cars were capable of 150+ mph, and the racing cars were topping out at 175.) But the solution was so beautiful that it was adopted, even in non-functional form, on many other sports cars of the Fifties.
