a wonderfully functional and stylish hair accessory that will be good to you all year long. Perfect for those chilly summer nights, windy boat rides, brisk mornings, even keeps your hair dry on rainy days. Wool naturally breathes to keep you cool in the heat, dry in the wet and ultra toasty in the cold.
The hand spun and hand dyed artisan yarn used in this band is made by Abby of Folktale.etsy.com from chemical free merino cross. So super soft and buttery smooth with light lofty goodness. From my original free-form crochet headband patterns I sculpted a masterpiece and fulled the wool in hot water and eco-friendly soap.
The Raimbow Tree is appliqued to one end of the band using all 100% wool felt bits and delicate machine embroidery. Accompanying the tree is a crescent moon and a single star.
Secures around your head with two long felted ties that you can tie up or let dangle down your back.
Hand wash cold water only if needed :)

“Sometimes fate is like a small sandstorm that keeps changing directions. You change direction but the sandstorm chases you. You turn again, but the storm adjusts. Over and over you play this out, like some ominous dance with death just before dawn. Why? Because this storm isn't something that blew in from far away, something that has nothing to do with you. This storm is you. Something inside of you. So all you can do is give in to it, step right inside the storm, closing your eyes and plugging up your ears so the sand doesn't get in, and walk through it, step by step. There's no sun there, no moon, no direction, no sense of time. Just fine white sand swirling up into the sky like pulverized bones. That's the kind of sandstorm you need to imagine.
And you really will have to make it through that violent, metaphysical, symbolic storm. No matter how metaphysical or symbolic it might be, make no mistake about it: it will cut through flesh like a thousand razor blades. People will bleed there, and you will bleed too. Hot, red blood. You'll catch that blood in your hands, your own blood and the blood of others.
And once the storm is over you won't remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won't even be sure, in fact, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm you won't be the same person who walked in. That's what this storm's all about.”

I love the tiny winged gargoyles that adorn the theater's canopy. It's clear that they are fully functional rain scuppers.

On top of Turnstone's simple but elegant furniture, you might notice some of the other design features in our store. For instance, all of our lighting is the latest LED technology from Juno Lighting and Solais. Solais makes dimmable LED lighting which is powerful enough to use in a retail environment and energy efficient at the same time. Not visible is our speakers from KEF, who provide incredible sound from above.
It was looking all presented sitting on Karen's windowsill so I decided to take a picture of it. This is one of the games that made me upset when Nintendo updated the Wii firmware and removed functionality of 'Freeloader'. I could no longer play this game that I'd bought on my Wii.
Turned out I had an LED backwards, and I wired the SPDT switch in the opposite direction than I meant to, but in the end, everything works happily. On to Chapter 4!
These animals have specialised in one talent, which is both a blessing and their downfall; as human activities destroy their open habitats, they have less and less opportunity to put their perfect 'design' to use. Cheetahs were once plentiful from Africa to India and across the Middle-East; their status as threatened with extinction is a dour reflection on our treatment of even these iconic cats who have fascinated us since primeval times.
Mr Fox is a multi functional fox. No one's ever managed to put a figure to exactly how many talents he has, but even Mrs PB concedes it might be more than the number of beans she can fit in her stomach!
One of these immeasurable capabilities is his ability to solve any Rubik's cube in less than 30 seconds. Give him another 10 seconds and he can do it using nothing but his tail. Another 5 and he can do it standing on one paw!
Anyhow, hoping the same technicoloured block might help Mrs PB hone both her patience and reasoning skills, Mr Fox assigned her the puzzle for tonight's homework.
She didn't really know what all the fuss was about. A screw driver, quite a lot of glue,a couple of expletives, and a few spillages later and she was done. Mr Fox was seriously impressed, until that is he tried to have a go!
The skybridge is an essential functional component linking the Twin Towers to facilitate movement between the two towers.
The 58.4 meters double-decked skybridge is located at levels 41 and 42 joining the sky lobbies situated in both towers.
The Skybridge of the PETRONAS Twin Towers opens from Tuesday to Sunday.
The Skybridge Ticket Counter opens at 8.30am on every operational days.
The visiting hours is from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
As for Monday, the Skybridge would be opened for half day from 9.00am to 1.00pm during school holiday and open full day from 9.00am to 5.00pm if the Monday is Public Holiday, otherwise the Skybridge would be closed. I think it would be good if you could advise your friend to avoid visiting the Skybridge on Monday.
There are 1300 tickets to be issued on first come first serve basis. The ticket is free of charge. Normally the tickets would be finished around 11.00am. The tickets will be issued on the visit day itself. To avoid any disappointment, I would suggest you to come to the ticket counter as early as 8.30am. The Skybridge Ticket counter located at the Concourse Floor (underground) of the PETRONAS Twin Towers. The floor can be accessed from both Towers.
There is no restaurant at the Skybridge. There is only a club, Malaysian Petroleum Club located at Level 41&Level 42. The club is only open for the members.
"Así frente a la hostilidad, frente a las formas animales de la tempestad y del huracán, los valores de protección y de resistencia de la casa se trasponen en valores humanos, la casa adquiere las energías físicas y morales de un cuerpo humano.
Una casa así exige al ser humano un heroísmo cósmico, es un instrumento para afrontar el cosmos". - La poética del espacio. Bachelard.

I don't have the desktop on screen all the time.
I use launchy for non-frequent programs.
I use desktop coral to keep the dock on screen at all times.
The dock is a rocketdock with 10-ft HUD.
The clock docklet is one I skinned myself in the flipclock fashion.

“The Saturn V is the ideal icon to represent a big dream. This rocket was designed and built as a collaboration of nearly half-a-million people and allowed our human species to venture beyond our world and stand on ANOTHER - SURELY one of the biggest dreams of all time. ENABLING THE DREAMS of young people to touch this mighty rocket sends a powerful message in conjunction with creating an educational curriculum to engage students to embrace the power of learning through many important subjects”
-Neil deGrasse Tyson, Director of the Hayden Planetarium, New York

Former Nederlands-Indische Spoorwegen Maatschappij designed by BJ Quendag and JF Klinkhamer, and constructed from 1903-1907. Only used as museum, sadly (wishes for more fully-functional purposes).
The doors. Yes, really, the almost thousand doors of Lawang Sewu.
Gedung Lawang Sewu, bekas kantor pusat Maskapai Kereta Api Hindia Belanda (NISM), karya BJ Quendag dan JF Klinkhamer, dibangun 1903-07. Sayang, gedung ini hanya jadi museum dan pajangan saja, belum menjadi kantor PT KAI.
Hampir ribuan pintu.
