Functional Histology 2e was recently awarded the Best Designed Tertiary and Further Education Book at the prestigious 58th Australian Annual Book Design Awards.
We asked students to check out a sample chapter and tell us which was their favourite image was and why. Overwhelmed by the thoughtful and interesting entries we received, it was hard to pick a winner! And we are happy to announce that the winner was Kate Duggan, a 5th year student at the University of Auckland.

For the first 7 miles, we were riding into a strong headwind on barely functional bikes. Additionally, Joey was having some type of allergic reaction and was sweating buckets. That gold-anodized piece up at the top of the shock is just gorgeous. You can just see the CNC milling marks on the surface; this thing was grooved like an old vinyl LP when I held it. You'll never see it once it's in the car... but it's beautiful because making it good meant making it beautiful.

Een fitness programma afkomstig van 1 van de surfmekka’s op aarde nl. Californië, maakt u niet alleen sterker maar ook fysiek beter.
Squats, deadlifts, lopen,… allemaal dingen die we doen in het dagelijks leven... Maar doen we ze wel goed?

Elke zaterdag en zondag van juli en augustus neemt hij om 10u een groep mee in de wondere wereld van functional training.
Verwacht echter geen bicepcurls of traditionele fitness oefeningen, wel circuits, workouts van 20min,… met telkens heel veel variatie. Zeken aanrader om een weekdag mee te starten!
