The percentage of replicate trees in which the associated taxa clustered together in the bootstrap test (1000 replicates) is shown next to the branches. The tree is drawn to scale with branch lengths in the same units as those of the evolutionary distances used to infer the phylogenetic tree. The evolutionary distances were computed using the Dayhoff matrix-based method and are given in the units of the number of amino acid substitutions per site. All positions containing alignment gaps and missing data were eliminated only in pairwise sequence comparisons (pairwise deletion option). A total of 187 positions were analyzed in the final dataset. Phylogenetic analyses were conducted in MEGA4 [27]. The following sequences with accession numbers were used for the analysis: TSPO-Danio (NP_001006032), TSPO-Oncorhychus (AAK31586), TSPO-Tetradon (CAG06923), TSPO-Xeopus (AAH41505), TSPO-Drosophola (NP_608531), TSPO-elegans (NP_001129759), TSPO1-Pig (NP_998918), TSPO1-Mouse (P50637), TSPO1-Rat (NP_036647 NP_036647), TSPO1-CRA-b-Humans (NM_000714), TSPO1-Gallus (XP_416451), TSPO2-Gallus (XP_418037), TSPO2-Rat (XP_001063305), TSPO2-Mouse (NP_081568), TSPO2-Humans (NP_001010873), TSPO2-Pig (N166970). Site-specific profile for predicting critical amino acid residues responsible for type-I functional divergence between clusters TSPO (from invertebrates) and TSPO1 or TSPO2 as measured by posterior probability (Q1). Only one site, H159 (hTSPO1), is over 0.6 of Q1 value between TSPO/TSPO1, whereas there are 11 sites over 0.6 of Q1 value between TSPO/TSPO2.

This unique and functional fruit bowl is decorated in a symmetrical circle of trees.
Crafted from red terracotta clay and hand thrown on the potter's wheel. Each tree and leaf was hand cut and meticulously softened so there are no sharp edges.
As long as I can remember I have had a fascination with line quality. The way in which a simple tapered line creates the illusion as though the line is moving toward as well as away from you. Painters and drawers rely on these subtleties of line to mimic a 3 dimensional perception on a 2 dimensional medium.
In ceramics we create 3 dimensional forms that can only be viewed from one "side" at a time. It is through touch and use that one can embrace the fullness of a functional piece of pottery.
By carving away the walls of my wares I am playing with line quality as well as variations of shadow and light. I have attempted to bring the eye into and through the bowl, to go beyond the basic contours of form. These wares are an exploration of my vision and a test to go beyond the barriers and limitations of ceramics. I have poured my heart and soul into these wares and I look forward to the continuation of the challenge.
This bowl is covered in a semi transparent light turquoise glaze that highlights the red edging. The bottom of this piece has a recessed foot ring and it is signed with my "Trish the fish" stamp.
Measures 9" wide and 2 3/4" tall.

The dirty dishes collect beneath the sign that says "Do not leave... dishes or glasses in this laundry room." But some people cannot believe that such a sign pertains to them! :( I call this phenomenon "functional illiteracy"!

A ribbon cutting ceremony takes place in front of the new functional fitness facility known as "The Bubble" Jan. 11.
After the ceremony community members visited the facility, and had the chance to see some demonstrations of the equipment and enjoy some healthy refreshments.
The Fitness Center added a new class held at the Luna Bubble on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.
Cost is $3 and like all Group Fitness Classes tickets can be purchased at the Fitness Center desk.
