To celebrate 20 years since their victory in the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans, McLaren announced that they would resurrect the GTR name by launching a track-only version of the P1, the McLaren P1 GTR. The concept car made its debut at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and the P1 GTR production model was officially unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It is available only to existing McLaren P1 customers.

Though it is sometimes viewed as an exotic or archaic ritual, one glance into Brimstone's unflinching eyes is enough to convince even its most fervent detractors of the power of exorcism. As a young and fiery priest cutting his teeth on the unlettered villagers in small settlements in the Brazilian lowlands, Brimstone became well versed in the grim and inexplicable taboos of the folk religions of the region as supplement to the wine-rich layers of Catholicism imparted to him in his seminary training.
He performed his first formal exorcism one murky moonless night, haunted by the eerie calls of howler monkeys and the oily splash of crocodile tails on the Amazon's dark waters. While our Exorcist is to this day tight-lipped regarding the particulars of the ritual, he came out of that forest clearing twelve hours later with clothing tattered and soaked with sweat, and the subject of his demonic expulsion sleeping peacefully at last.
It is difficult to pinpoint how exactly this event changed him, but Brimstone was thereafter indisputably a different man. While he retained his friendly smile and quiet ease with conversation, his fervent convictions seemed to have undergone a deepening, a solidification that lent gravity to his bearing and a fire to his soul.
Brimstone began to devote himself exclusively to the largely lost art of exorcism, and his miraculous successes with the tormented and the crazed soon brought pilgrims from halfway across the world imploring at his doorstep.
The sheer number of afflicted with which he was presented struck Brimstone a heavy blow, and the realization of the extent of the damage in the world was disillusioning and overwhelming. In particular, when Brimstone was met with a case that even his considerable powers could not conquer (young FullThrottle, for it was he indeed who so sorely tested our Exorcist's resolve, was deemed inseparable from the demons that lent him his destructive zest), he felt he had misjudged himself and his profession.
Turning away from the horrors he had witnessed and felt himself powerless to cure, Brimstone gave up his famed exorcisms and plunged into the drink. It was by a stroke of fortune that he found himself one day seated at the bar of our own Brewmaster, who conversationally imparted to him the history and ideals of the Pastime Athletic Club. Its dynamic mission statement revived our Exorcist's enthusiasm more effectively than the harsh spirits with which he had been dosing himself, and he found his calling once again within the Club's bold ranks.
WIth the support of the team behind him, Brimstone returned to the practice of exorcism with a renewed vigor, and found himself able to reach more possessed souls than ever before. While cognizant of the irony of reinstating his faith-based occupation within an institution generally scorned or lauded as godless, Brimstone has wisely chosen to find peace within the contradiction. We hope these two disparate worlds can continue to coexist, and look forward to many more years of demon-free enthusiasm.
