The color change is from the filter and white balancing in the camera. The result turns IR bright objects from green to purple.
The above image is very close to what the viewfinder sees.
The image does use bracketed photos and HDR to get better details/resolution.

This is on the way to Hangzhou. I noticed a curious phenomenon:
Whenever I was on a bus tour, about 15 minutes into the drive 75% of the people on the bus were asleep. I think they are just making good use of their time so they will be energetic when we arrive at our destination!
