es gibt da tatsaechlich einen ort im sueden, man glaubt es kaum, da haengen die straeucher in jedem jahr voll mit sanddornbeeren. wenn ich im spaetsommer hier vorbei spaziere, denke ich immer an die kueste, sonne auf dem bauch und an leckere marmelade!

that was the view, not even two years ago… no windmills, no bigger power pylons… very little man made stuff visible, lots of landscape. this is one of my walk-by-views, which i am not making a project of… just stopping, enjoying the moment and making a photograph… sometimes.

.This is the best i can do with the very mediocre files i capture during that night. Many mistakes were done during shooting. The next time i will do this things will be So MUCH BETTER (waiting for a night with clear skies with no wind and rain)

Built in 1993, this is a replica of the 17th century church built to commemorate victory over the Poles and demolished in the 1930s by Stalin and the Bolsheviks. It was rebuilt in the early 1990's using original specs and photographs. It is a revered place of worship with bright, vibrant frescoes.

Obviously you can't tell from the shot, but, it was blowing a gale while standing here trying to frame this up. No problem normally, but a sheer drop to my left made me a bit cautious with my footing ! Worth it though.....
