Turens største bombe, - en ung rustsnipe på stranden ved Nordland, Værøy. Fuglen ankom med to sandløpere og en sandlo og holdt seg ved Nordland i to dager.

Sitronerle in vanndam på vestsiden av Sørlands vågen. Dette var en voksen hunn. Fuglen holdt seg her i et par timer før den forsvant.

20 stylish rooms. 5 suites. Well stocked mini bar
Was in a standard room, room 307, compact @ 215 square feet but with a comfortable balcony
Not much traffic noise as my room faced an office building.

@ the hotel:
Cosmopolitan staff. Heated pool, jacuzzi, firepit and pool bar overlooking the 133 acre Yoyogi Park on the 6th floor of the 7 story building. The hotel has an Eneos gas station on one side and a Fuglen coffee on the other side. Was surprised the front desk staff that showed me to my room proceeded to walk around my room without taking her shoes off, even after I did, especially in Japan.

I loved the original Trunk Hotel which is why I booked the just as beautiful Trunk Yoyogi this time for fun. The hotel’s location is irreplaceable but @ this price point, except for the novelty factor, I prefer Prince Gallery Kioicho hotel where I can get a Mount Fuji view, excellent concierge team, twice the space, a bathtub & more for US$350 (using corporate rate).
