I thought it was about time I went back to my backlog of photos - have got so far behind that I've wondered if I'm ever going to catch up, or whether to just be more selective when it comes to uploading stuff. For now I'm going to keep digging into the archive from time to time, as things move very quickly now in car spotting - stuff that was easy to spot a couple of years ago isn't necessarily around so much now. Most of this upload is from a trip to north-west England for a show that took place there (the venue escapes me) in August 2019. Happily this now rare Astra is still taxed and MOT'd.

Last taxed in February 2019 and last MoT test expired in March 2018.
Still sat here over a year later since I last saw it; very little seems to have changed. It's been off the road nearly 2 years now and it appears that it's just been abandoned and left to rot which is a shame. The once pumped up tyres are now flat and the bodywork has grown some extra moss. A very strange MOT history on this car; in 2011 it was showing 172,511, then in 2012 it was showing 110,222 and then in 2013, it was just 71,002! It's either had a new instrument binnacle, or more worryingly it's been clocked.
First West of England ADL Enviro 400 33418 (WA56 FTT), a former Plymouth Park & Ride vehicle, is seen at Alexandra Parade, Weston, working an X1 to Bristol.

468 FTT 1969. The second of 150 Bristol FLF6G/ECW buses operated by Western National from 1960. She worked from Camborne, Plymouth and Totnes depots until withdrawn in 1981. Colin Billington. 2019 Kingsbridge running day. We had a lovely run down to Salcombe on this lovely bus.
