I know, I love Fruit Loops, what can I say?! I spilled my milk this morning.
I don't know how to get spoon and cup in focus at the same time with this camera. But I like the pic anyway. I didn't set this up; this is how the milk spilled and the fruit loop fell. hahaha.

Decided to try to convert some negatives I had into something larger (as I never could print them all in the class I took them for).
Reunion Dinner @ "Forbidden Duck".
It was written that owner and chef Alvin Leung is no fan of the traditional version popular in Singapore and he went on to create his own version.
Well, Chef Leung.....your version was just plain weird.
The prawns were actually well prepared with salted egg yolk (although my brother had one piece that seemed to be overly salted) and I think if you have left it as such, it would have been alright.
Except, you started to create a salad using mango, strawberry and salad cream and then topped this with a heapful of highly flavourful "Fruit Loops". This did not make sense at all....taste wise and chemical wise. Prawns and cereals shared common chemistry.....these highly flavoured confections contain molecules that simply had not place with seafood. The brain was lost and confounded to if I was eating seafood or if I was having breakfast.
The entire concoction bordered on the bizarre.
Chef, if you do not like the dish, there is dignity in walking away not liking it.
Please do not bludgeon a local classic.

these musicians are great models. we did this set using 'guerilla photography.' By the time anybody working at the store noticed us, I'd taken five or six good shots. This and the one of them with the oranges are my two favorites, so I decided to post them as a dyptich. The rest will end up in an album cover somewhere, I'm sure... :)

to mark the occasion of getting out of hospital for the second time in 2 weeks & to establish my credentials as a fruitloop, even more firmly than before it, i bought a pair of jeans at Henry Bucks for $200. or maybe i wanted to emphasize an ending & the beginning of something new .... but what? - i don't know yet?!
