Anna doll from the Mini Wardrobe Set. She is residing in a beaten up craigslist find dollhouse that I have been repairing. The kitchen and downstairs lighting is complete.
When I first got my Troll Wedding Set, I wasn't planning on making Anna or Kristoff stands, being that my display space is very limited. I figured I could sit them down in front of some of my other dollies on my "assorted" character shelf. But after testing this out, I realized that Kristoff was a bit too bulky to sit down, and Anna was a bit to flimsy to hold herself up well. I ended up making them stands anyways (fortunately, I was able to allocate the space on my display for them). Since these two dolls came in a set together, I wanted their stands to match. That is why both of them are the same dark green color (which was inspired by their green capes and crowns). I opted to label both stands "Troll Wedding" since in the future I might end up with "basic" Anna and Kristoff dolls, so I wanted to save the "Frozen," "Anna," and "Kristoff" labels. Plus, the name "Troll Wedding" is really unique, and it was fun to design font for. Anna's stand is the one on the left. I decided to paint gems on her stand that matched the gems on her crown and collar. It's hard to tell in this photograph, but I used a little glitter paint on top of the pink color, to give the gems a bit more dimension. For Kristoff's stand, I wanted to do a more "manly" design. I adore the intricate doodles on both Anna and Kristoff's capes. I thought these random squiggles and dots would suit his stand perfectly. They aren't meant to be asymmetrical, which is why they all look a bit different from one another (although I did want them to look similar). I think the dark green base coat suits the stark white lettering and both the designs on Anna and Kristoff's stands. The dolls look a bit more expensive and gussied up on my display now that they aren't sitting or free standing.
I was very excited when I acquired Birthday Anna and Elsa at the local flea market in 2021. Their fabulous gowns were the inspiration behind these stands. Granted, I didn't have much shelf space left to stand up Frozen dolls. But I was so set on making stands for these ladies, that I managed to wiggle some room for them on the Frozen/Hunchback of Notre Dame shelf. I bought this extra glittery paint at Walmart just for their stands. The designs were inspired by the prints on the girls' dresses. Elsa has these beautiful pink flowers that run down the length of her sheer cape. Anna's dress features a sunflower print with little extras, like bumblebees. I didn't replicate the sunflower on this stand to be identical to Anna's dress. Rather, I took the general concept and modified it to look good on the top of this stand. When I noticed the little bumblebees on Anna's skirt, I had to add them too. I decided to put designs on the tops of both dolls' stands since the "Birthday" label took up so much room on the front. I wouldn't have been able to get this kind of detail on their designs if I tried cramming them onto the squished front. Plus, both Anna and Elsa have narrow gowns, so you can visibly see the designs when they are on display. I did learn that this glitter paint needs ample time to dry before attempting to paint over it. That's why Elsa's lettering and designs are a bit lumpy. Next time (especially if I opt to redo Elsa's stand altogether), I'll paint the base coat, the designs, and then do the glitter coating last.
i finally managed to repaint the disney on ice anna doll! i love disney on ice, it's a wonderful show. <3 the only sad thing about their dolls is that the factory paint is pretty plain and inaccurate, so i tried to change that. (; her face is repainted using acrylics and pastels, her hair is also restyled.
Today it's my birthday and with all my presents this big baby arrived, Elsa's limited edition doll by Frozen, she's sooooo stunning and beauty!
I wanted to do the twist.. but I don't want do destroy the bun.
I was thinking of doing something like that:

But now that I have this piece of hair... it seems very difficult.
i currently work very much, so not many updates from me, i'm sorry. ):
here is one of my older dolls. i never braided her hair before because i liked it open. last weekend however, i decided she needed a new look, haha.
her cape is handsewn. she was the singing anna doll before. (: the repaint was done quite a while ago!
Anna mini doll with a picco neemo body and Figma hands (I love that they bend at the wrists). The dress she came with was cute, but simple. I've added gold paint to the bodice and used small gem stick ons to recreate her dress as seen in the movie.
1:12 scale fully jointed princess Anna doll. Her dress was purchased from Miniatures by Mimi on Etsy.
These are my thrift shop finds. The 17" AA Endless Hair Barbie is from the flea market. The ladies on the right are donations. The ladies on the left are body donors except for the pristine Brooke Shields doll.
started 2017 with a little repainted mini animators elsa doll! :D i made her a little sad looking as this is still when elsa is not sure of her powers.
love the mini animators, they are adorable!!! little anna here was repainted using acrylics. restyled her hair to be more movie accurate.
it was saturday afternoon...their mom and dads overslept hihihi..so we just stayed home the whole day...poor kids.
The doll is from the Deluxe Gif Set. I've bought it loose on eBay. I don't have the original outfit and I am looking for it.
But what I really want now is a gorgeous crown for her. I don't like the original DS. Unfortunatelly I have no idea of where to find it or how to make one by myself. :(
