Frog (a.k.a Phrog) spent a couple months with Aunt Libby and Cousin Phoebe. She came home with frog-size photos of her trip!

This is not a crop either. Since you can't see all of the bird though, I was actually thinking of cropping it.

I like how you can see that the pupil of the eye is oval shaped.

It's pretty amazing that these rather plain looking birds morph into the spectacular looking mature bald eagle.

Frogs were one of the first things I tried to photograph. When I see them, I see if I've gotten any better. I have not.

Found during a night hike along the Tapang trail, Loagan Bunut.

One of the two species of Gray Tree Frogs (Hyla) found in Manitoba - they appear identical. We have seen them in the same area in previous years.

Of course, shooting at night is not without flaws. Apart from safety issues, the darkness will mean that its very hard to see your subject, and flash controls have to be properly optimized to prevent overflashing the subjects. I've still got a lot to learn :p
