This Sooty-winged Chalcoela (Chalcoela iphitalis) was hanging upside down and flapping its wings when I spotted it. I assume it was drying its wings out after emerging. This is an unusual angle on this particular moth. Plainsboro, NJ.

Vanithamani (Guest of Honour), Consultant Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon, P K Das Institute of Medical Sciences, Vaniyankulam, Kerala. Dean, Govt. Villipuram & Thanjavour Medical Colleges and Hospitals (Rtd.)
Ms. Nida Aslam delivered the welcome speech and given welcome to the management, faculties, students and parents. Dr. P. Krishnadas, in his Presidential address, greeted the students and expressed his hearty welcome. In addition, he asked the student to swear themselves to become good citizen and best human being in the society. He highlighted about the importance of allied health sciences in medical field and scope. He insisted that students should aim for the highest reach and they should accomplish the pinnacle of success in their future.
Ms. M. Monisha has given introduction to the Chief Guest Dr. Rashmi Priyanka.
In this occasion, the Chief Guest Dr. Rashmi Priyanka motivated the students that they should set goal and work to achieve their ambition. S.R. Ashwini has given introduction to the Guest of Honour Dr. M. Vanithamani.
The, Guest of Honour Dr.M. Vanithamani spoke on the importance of Allied Health Sciences, The role and scope of Health Science Professionals in Hospitals.
