I almost got kicked out for taking this photo. You can hear the associate whistle and then bang on the elevator door as it is descending. I know it was an employee elevator but It was worth the risk to bring fellow elevator enthusiasts this photo. No laws broken, just a company policy :) PHOTOGRAPHY IS NOT A CRIME.

A teaser from an HD video test I shot with artist/musician/performer Finn von Claret of Imaginary Daughter. These stills are entirely unedited--the special effects were done in camera, not in post.
We used natural light and my wide-angle Lensbaby on my Canon Digital Rebel T2i. Finn and I shot the video in the hundred-year-old freight elevator in my studio building in Pioneer Square, Seattle. Rather than panning and tilting the camera, I adjusted the focus ring on my Lensbaby to force concentration on one part of the frame or another.
