I did some "drive-by shooting" on my way up to our cabin on the North Shore of Lake Superior. The "William A. Irvin" is a permanent fixture to the harbor as a tour ship (you stay in the harbor and tour the ore boat.) Anyway, I was shooting those twin water towers in Canal Park and "caught" the ship quite by accident as we sped by on the freeway! A really lucky shot!
From my house I can see the the spur of highway 101 that sticks int the centre of San Francisco. In this long exposure the headlights and taillights of the cars are drawn out into long streaks of light. [IMG_3015-freewaytraffic]
Brandon, FL- I-75 S Bound one half mile from departing exit ramp to FL 60 an east- west route transversing Florida from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean. At 161 miles the route passes through the busy Tampa Metropolitan Area as well as many rural agricultural areas along with wetlands and some industrial mining sites.
Passing here through Exit 257 is one of its most heavily used portions dealing with Tampa area commuters as well as retail shoppers to the areas many retail establishments.
