DE 1 southbound at the Dover toll plaza. This marks the south end of the tolled portion of the DE 1 Turnpike.
Heading toward Santa Monica on I-10. I love the 70's California feel of this shot. It doesn't look like a digital photo. I was pulling focus into the windshield and timing my shot for just as I drove below an overpass. Kind of like an upside down really fast sunrise. The lens flare is the windshield itself, and the light hits all the scratches and imperfections in the glass. Pretty hard to get while going about 60. Part of my series taken only from my car.

A bonafide rest area survives, one of two between St. George and Brigham City (if not all the way to the Idaho border). Utah keeps its rest areas nice and clean, on the bright side.
