In late May 2022 I called into Wembley to catch the last 90 mins of arrivals to the League Two Play-off Final between Mansfield Town and Port Vale. Yet again there was a nice variety of coaches present including a good crop of Sunsundegui Sideral coaches. The Valiants ran out 3-0 winners.

I should have waited for rush hour to get more cars in the frame but it was chilly that day and I didn't want to stay out that late lol.
It's like a step back in time, as Volvo Olympian (X285) makes her way along Gorgie Road while operating on a Route 25 Service to Riccarton. Taken while I was upstairs on Scania Omnicity (990) in the afternoon of Friday 28th October 2016, using my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

Taken a few weeks ago during a late evening walk with Beefy, here you can see a moody, atmospheric sunset (when our weather was constantly switching between warm sun and heavy rain like it was earlier in August, which always makes for dramatic skies here in Calgary) taken from the middle of a foot bridge over Deerfoot Trail, Calgary's largest north-south highway that stretches all the way throughout our city.
At some point, I want to bring my cheap tripod (I really need to buy a better one) and my 60D to this camera once the sun has set to do long exposure shots of the cars going by, I think that would be really cool!
For now, though, you guys are just going to have to be satisfied with this shot!

On this day we made a big leap to the North from Annecy to Metz. On the planning was a trip of about 5 hours and 545 kilometers. We left Sévrier (near Annecy) at 10h15 and after a fuel stop in the area of Annecy we took the D1508 via Frangy to the autoroute A40 (not the planned A41) to enter the A40 highway a bit south of Bellegrarde-sur-Valserine. Via Bourg-en-Bresse to the A39 highway to drive northbound. A lunchstop along the A39 (Aire de Jura). More north we merged with the A31 near Dijon. Via Langres, Neufchâteau, Toul and a McDo stop at Laxou (West of Nancy) for a frappé to Metz where we arrived at 17h41 after driving 541 kilometers (planned 545 km) and a temperature of 38° C. It was the second longest drive of this holiday, most of it on a highway. Stewart did 100% of the driving.
Autoroute A31
The A31 autoroute, also known as l'Autoroute de Lorraine-Bourgogne, is a French autoroute. The road runs from the Franco-Luxembourg border to Beaune where it joins the A6. The north of the autoroute is free, up to the town of Toul, but it is a toll road south of there. The autoroute serves the cities of Metz, Nancy and Dijon and it is heavily used in the holiday season as it is a convenient route for those travelling from Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Germany to get to the south of France.

LA traffic is bad enough, but these guys apparently decided it would be okay to turn the Hollywood Freeway into a bike path.

The greatest irony of this photo is the slogan on the McDonald's Truck being "Whip through traffic".
California State Route 91 is the main freeway between the Inland Empire and Orange County. And typical to the traffic volume there is a major accident usually at least once a month in each traveled direction. Generally I find out about them and avoid the roadway. Not on this occasion.
After I had entered the FasTrak lanes of the highway, traffic started to slow, then I see the emergency vehicles passing on the right shoulder. Turns out that all of the main lines were blocked and traffic was being forced into the two FasTrak Lanes. So that's five lanes of main line and two of Fastrak, filing to two lanes.
But this was only Round One! about twenty minutes after I made it through an attempted murder suspect was being pursued by the California Highway Patrol, decided to cross into the FasTrak lanes and collided with several cars, flew past one of our Motor Coaches and continued East bound. After running over Spike Strips on the Highway the driver bounced off the "K-Rails" and kept going until it could go no further.
CHP closed all lanes of the freeway in both directions and called Anaheim SWAT to extricate the driver. After several hours the freeway was finally reopened, but the damage was already done.
