How to save this texture... Go to the top click on "All sizes" once your at the larger image click on the tab that says "original" then right click on it and save it to your computer.
Very basic tip on using-
Open the texture, open your image.
If your using Photoshop, go to your "layers palette" have your texture as the top layer then play with the layer settings, try these (make sure your on your texture, not your photo): Overlay, Soft Light, Hard Light (more dramatic) and Multiply.. keep in mind you can always use a light opacity eraser and erase bits of the texture away from your image.
Have fun...
Use as you would like, just don't resell it or claim as your own. If you use it please add your image to the Distressed group so I can see what you came up with, or put a link here to your creation. x
Click view "All sizes", then right click- file save as.

"And this inner land, which was long named Eglador, was after called Doriath, the guarded kingdom, Land of the Girdle. Within it there was yet a watchful peace; but without there was peril and great fear, and the servants of Morgoth roamed at will, save in the walled havens of the Falas."

Texture for you're use. For a more dramatic look overlay in "Multiply" mode in photoshop layers palette, or for a softer look use "over lay" mode. Looks nice on landscapes with a lot of barren sky.
Have fun and all I ask is you do not sell this texture or claim it as your own.
