Even if you are in prison, your angle of freedom is in the way of thinking choose. No one can ever take it away!

Holidays are time for doing what you want to do, having a free mind and no stress at all, this is a perfect opportunity to do what you like (I mean photography) experimenting new stuff and different subjets, isn't it?
This shot came after some ordinary shots to a ferris wheel, before living I put on the camera my 50mm and at f1.4 I tryed to shoot, the wheel was moving ... well, I really liked the result and I took many of this I will upload in the future :-)
some Like It Hot- Marilyn Monroe/Running Wild
My gal and I, we had a fight
And I'm all by myself
I guess she thinks now that she's gone
I'll lay right on the shelf
I'm gonna show her she's all wrong
No lonesome stuff for mine
I won't sit home, all alone
She'll soon find that I'm
Runnin' wild, lost control
Runnin' wild, mighty bold
Feelin' gay, reckless too
Care free mind all the time, never blue
Always goin' don't know where
Always showin', I don't care
Don't love nobody, it's not worth while
All alone, runnin' wild. Runnin' wild
When I first met that gal of mine
It seemed just like a dream
But when she tho't she had me right
She started actin' mean
Like mary led her little lamb
She led me all the time
Until the worm had to turn
That's the reason I'm
Runnin' wild, lost control
Runnin' wild, mighty bold
Feelin' gay, reckless too
Care free mind all the time, never blue
Always goin' don't know where
Always showin', I don't care

Wake Up - Astro Cruise
Prints: www.benheine.com
An astronaut's dream, so vivid and clear,
Of galaxies far, and planets near,
A journey through space, he could feel it all,
But as he awoke, it began to stall.
Back to reality, he blinked in the light,
His heart still beating, with all its might,
But the dream lingered, it wouldn't depart,
And so, he closed his eyes and restarted.
In his mind's eye, he could see it again,
The stars so bright, and the galaxies insane,
He longed to escape, to leave it all behind,
And journey through space, with a wild, free mind.
He imagined the thrill, the rush of the ride,
The weightlessness, the freedom, he couldn't hide,
His soul yearned for it, he needed to fly,
To soar through the universe, way up high.
In his thoughts and hopes, he escaped,
To a place where no one could keep him taped,
A world of adventure, of wonder, of awe,
A world where he could be without any flaw.
As he opened his eyes, he felt so alive,
He knew that one day, he'd take that dive,
Into the vast unknown, where dreams come true,
And he'd travel through space, just like he knew.
So he rose from his bed, with a new-found zest,
And vowed to make his dream a reality, the best,
For nothing could stop him, not even the stars,
He was an astronaut, he'd travel far.
27 Weeks Old
Guess who hired a new assistant. Yup and he even takes sweet potatoes as payment How awesome is that. So this is how me and Dali spent day 2 as Tam has been gone for the last couple days out of town and its just me and Dali man hanging out Daddy Daycare round 2 style. We got the house held down Tam dont worry. Its just so fun hanging out with Dali and watching him learn the littlest of things like how to pass an object back and forth from hand to hand -its just all those things that are the neatest to see him do --it really is like watching your life again and getting to appreciate it this time around, and getting to remember those milestones through an adults eyes is such an amazing way to see the process-- "the whole world is new aspect" and their free mind totally open to anything, always growing and learning is so apparent each day when you look at them in that light.---So what better way to spend some quality time then go over some camera tricks and show Mr Dali Man the ropes of photography. If you remember about 6 months ago when Dali was 9 days old i took the photo of him inside the box with the old camera-(that was one of my favorite shots i did) and that camera that i used is the same one that Dali is holding in this photo. Its great to incorporate little things like that for me as photography is truly such a passion of mine and look at Dali he has a good grip of that camera and is ready to shoot. Its gonna be awesome when he can actually click the button and snap a few photos -I need to get him a little drop proof unbreakable kids digital camera. Yup thats what he needs. So this was our photo of the week and Photography Training 101 bonding time. Thanks again to Dali for being the best kid! im so proud of this little guy! I cant wait to watch him as he grows up.
This was week 27 of 52.

I like this character to be the one of the many prototypes that were made for an army legion in Nohalo Nui. This prototype was given a free mind but with the intention to seek the good and to eliminate the bad. From time to time he does question what his destiny is and wants to know more about his world and the different planets.
R.O.N.N. Is technical, creative and almost everything interests him in what he encounters.
Day 11 of 365 Toy Project
Wee Prince. Sorry to tell you. I didn't plan to make you at first, but my original project failed, and it became you.
Do you like him? He's a free giveaway. The first person who comments and expresses interest will take him home free! Mind you. He is not perfect though. Look at the red dot. Look at his face. How disturbing.
We are moved to tears by the size of this thing.
It's my life, take it or leave it
Set me free, what's that crap papa-know-it-all?
I got my own life, you got your own life
Live your own life and set me free
Mind your business and leave my business

Over the last few days, I have been returning to the basic joy of drawing. Just paper, object and a pencil. Oh, and of course the sheer concentration it takes.
Now, this is actually a poor drawing of the original. As a stand alone piece, it is OK, but without the original as a comparison. It is incorrect.
I am left without that feeling of satisfaction, knowing the end result is incorrect but the drawing has done its job. That is to allow that free mind space time to totally lose oneself in a small (and preferably natural) object. It is a style of meditation and one to which I intend to return.

working on a not so fun project the past couple of days. I did take time this morning for this photo of Mike. He was clearing his often stressed mind...
I found myself in the same need of clearing my mind this morning. My life this week? Tedious retouching (machine salesmen!) .. having to process photos of carpet cleaning machines (hey! it's paid work!) but oh so boring.... more time later!
This superb and breathtaking exhibition “Iris van Herpen. Sculpting the Senses,” currently on view at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, pays tribute to one of the most visionary fashion designers of her generation – and the simple term “fashion” almost seems out of place here as conventional standards of clothing are largely transgressed.
This retrospective is structured around nine themes and identifies the very essence of van Herpen’s work fusing fashion, contemporary art, design and science (and I could add: architecture).
Much more than an exhibition dedicated to Haute Couture, “Iris van Herpen. Sculpting the Senses", invites the visitor on an immersive journey into this singular and hybrid universe, punctuated by the designer's research and experiments.
One simple piece of advice: run for it!!!
THE MYTHOLOGY OF FEAR
Iris van Herpen was born in the village of Wamel, near Den Bosch, town of Flemish painter Hieronymus Bosch. She grew up examining with intensity the artist’s fantastical figures that mix alchemy, mysticism, and allegory. From her study of Bosch, she retains a certain taste for hybridization, an incessant questioning of human and animal nature, and an interest in fusing both into chimerical beings. In parallel, she explores the emotion of fear inside these imaginary worlds, through her discoveries made in the collections of the Embassy of the Free Mind, in Amsterdam, and in cabinets of curiosities encountered in her studies of Art History. Symbolist and Surrealist literature, have also led her to venture metaphor as a prism for expression, elevating her work above conventional dressing classifications. From Ovid’s Metamorphoses to Japanese mythology, she loves reinterpreting the mutations of our world.

-----------------------
