I had planned to say something about 'abundance' to go along with this image. Seems like a really great example of the abundance of nature and life in general, doesn't it?
Maybe I was looking in the wrong places for a good quote, but they all sounded like they were out of one of those seminars where people pay thousands of dollars for someone to tell them how amazing they are, and that they 'deserve' prosperity and abundance..
Personally, I have no problem 'accepting abundance' - but that may be because I'm not wallowing in it. Don't get me wrong - I feel blessed to have been rewarded for the hard work I've put in over the years. But I do feel that I have earned everything I have, and I am pretty particular about the charity I choose.
Which is why nothing disgusts me more than the waste and fraud that our 'entitlement' programs are drowning in. It takes food and shelter out of the mouths of those who truly deserve and need it.
Like the guy standing with the cardboard sign at the traffic light that says "Hungry - will work for food - God bless". Except that they aren't (hungry) , they won't (work), and I hate seeing a fraud tugging on the heartstrings of honest, but naive drivers.
These frauds eventually harden the hearts of those naive, loving people, when they watch them carefully fold up their intentionally mis-spelled cardboard signs and put them in the trunk along with the worn clothes that hint at being a down on his luck vet.
If Karma really is a bitch, they are in for a really bad day someday.
With doubt of the 2020 election still being screamed by the GOP I wonder what they have been up to in Maricopa County....
Don't think Indy is posing.
He is looking for a way out, because he hates it when I take pictures :-))
Happy furry friday!
I have a new book! I almost called the book "How to Stay Zen on Social Media," because that's one of the main points! However, I decided to go with the more click-baity name of "Under the Influence - How to Fake Your Way Into Getting Rich on Instagram: Influencer fraud, Selfies, Anxiety, Ego, and Mass Delusional Behavior" ... Catchy eh? Here's the link to Amazon stuckincustoms.com/links/undertheinfluencebook ...It's avail there exclusively in pre-release mode!
I see quite a bit of suffering out there on social media, and that's why I wrote this book. I hope it is a fun way to open the door, if even just a little, to have people become more mindful in their daily activities. Social Media, if used wrongly, can really add to a lot of undue suffering.
Another source of suffering is some of these Instagram Influencer charlatans are using completely unscrupulous tricks to gain a big following and engagement to trick brands into giving them the seemingly ideal lifestyle that is perfectly Instagrammable. So, a lot of people suffer anxiety when they see this stuff online because they feel like losers. But that is all based on a lie, so there is zero need for you to have any internal suffering by comparing yourself to a crook.
I've accidentally become an expert in these subject matters just because of the way I live my life. 90% of my income here at my company comes from fine art sales. A minority is from Influencer gigs and that is where I discovered this unfortunate underbelly of the Instagram world. I'm not writing this book because I feel like these people are taking anything away from me. They're not.
These fraudsters have created what I call Mass Delusional Behavior. I get into that in the sections about selfies and the ego. You'll find the book to be quite philosophical in an approachable way. You'll see some of the traps a regular person can fall into that can lead to an empty life where you only feed the ego instead of becoming your true self. It shows there's another path!
Whelp, I hope you love the book and find it interesting ... it's quite a little adventure!
I was trying to figure out photos to share for this book... I found a few from my portfolio that I thought were interesting. I took this one a few months ago in Chengdu, China. I was invited backstage before a Chinese opera and these were two different ladies getting ready for their performance... It's just one photo and each lady was sitting on opposite sides of the mirror.

This post is a public statement and a formal protest.
I am denouncing what is happening here on Flickr.
Something is clearly wrong — either against me personally or in the system itself.
For years, Flickr has been extremely strict with my photos, even removing or limiting visibility for completely harmless artistic images — sometimes just because a small part of a leg or ankle was visible.
And now, when I am creating strong, historical, cultural works, my photos are being ignored or blocked from being featured in Explore.
This is the third, maybe the fourth time that I’ve been told my work appeared in Explore when in fact it never did.
It’s happening again and again, and I’m tired of it.
I’ve worked hard, I’ve always respected the community rules, and I deserve to be treated fairly.
There is something unhealthy in this system, and I have the right to speak up and show it publicly.
Under these two photos (these two visual statements), I will also add the links to the four images I’m talking about — the ones that were affected by these issues.

*SPOILER ALERT FOR UNCHARTED 4*
So... I was all worried that something untoward would happen to one of the characters in Uncharted 4... completely unnecessarily! Everyone came out unscathed, and the ending was so lovely.
As for my figures? I actually prefer them having played the game; maybe I've got used to them, but I'm happier with the likenesses now. Certainly Drake poses much more naturally in his current incarnation than he did in his last one, and looks a leetle bit younger, I think.

American actor Leonardo DiCaprio (1974) has often played unconventional parts, particularly in biopics and period films. His role in the blockbuster Titanic (1998) cemented DiCaprio's reputation as a teen heartthrob. He became one of the biggest movie stars thanks to his films with the directors Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, and Quentin Tarantino. He won an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award for The Revenant (2015) as well as two other Golden Globes for The Aviator (2004) and The Wolf of Wall Street (2013).
Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio was born in Los Angeles, in 1974. He is the only child of Irmelin (née Indenbirken), a legal secretary, and George DiCaprio, an underground comix writer, publisher, and distributor of comic books. His parents separated when he was a year old. When his older stepbrother earned $50,000 for a television commercial, DiCaprio, fascinated with this, decided to become an actor. At age 14, he began his career by appearing in television commercials such as for Matchbox cars by Mattel, which he considered his first role. In 1989, he played the role of Glen in two episodes of the television show The New Lassie. Leo played recurring roles in various television series, such as the sitcom Parenthood (1990-1991) based on the successful comedy film of the same name. He made his film debut as the stepson of an evil landlord in the low-budget horror direct-to-video film Critters 3 (Kristine Peterson, 1991). He was handpicked by Robert De Niro out of 400 young actors to play the lead role in the biographical coming-of-age drama This Boy's Life (Michael Caton-Jones, 1993) with De Niro as his stepfather, and Ellen Barkin as his mother. In 1993, DiCaprio co-starred as the intellectually disabled brother of Johnny Depp's character in What's Eating Gilbert Grape (Lasse Hallström, 1993), a comic-tragic odyssey of a dysfunctional Iowa family. The film became a critical success, earning DiCaprio a National Board of Review Award for Best Supporting Actor and nominations for an Oscar and a Golden Globe. His next films were the Western film The Quick and the Dead (Sam Raimi, 1995) with Sharon Stone, the biopic The Basketball Diaries (Scott Kalvert, 1995) in which he played a teenage Jim Carroll as a drug-addicted high school basketball player and writer, and the erotic drama Total Eclipse (Agnieszka Holland, 1995), a fictionalised account of the homosexual relationship between Arthur Rimbaud (DiCaprio) and Paul Verlaine (David Thewlis). In 1996, DiCaprio appeared opposite Claire Danes in Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet, an abridged modernisation of William Shakespeare's romantic tragedy of the same name. The project grossed $147 million worldwide and earned DiCaprio a Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 1997 Berlin International Film Festival. DiCaprio then achieved international fame as a star in the epic romance Titanic (James Cameron, 1997), opposite Kate Winslet. Against expectations, Titanic went on to become the highest-grossing film to that point, eventually grossing more than $2.1 billion in box-office receipts worldwide. DiCaprio tuned into a superstar, resulting in intense adoration among teenage girls and young women in general that became known as "Leo-Mania"
Leonardo DiCaprio played a self-mocking role in a small appearance in Woody Allen's caustic satire of the fame industry, Celebrity (1998). That year, he also starred in the dual roles of the villainous King Louis XIV and his secret, sympathetic twin brother Philippe in The Man in the Iron Mask (Randall Wallace, 1998). The film received mixed to negative response, but became a box office success, grossing $180 million internationally. DiCaprio was awarded a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Screen Couple for both incarnations the following year. Leonardo starred in two successful features in 2002. The first was the biographical crime drama Catch Me If You Can (Steven Spielberg, 2002), based on the life of Frank Abagnale Jr., who before his 19th birthday committed check fraud to make millions in the 1960s. The film received favourable reviews and was an international success, becoming DiCaprio's highest-grossing release since Titanic with a total of $351 million worldwide. The second was the historical drama Gangs of New York (Martin Scorsese, 2002) with Cameron Diaz and Daniel Day-Lewis. It marked his first of many collaborations with director Martin Scorsese. Gangs of New York earned a total of $193 million worldwide and received mostly positive reviews. DiCaprio played Howard Hughes in The Aviator (Martin Scorsese, 2004), which DiCaprio also co-produced. In 2005, he was named the commander of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres for his contributions to the arts. DiCaprio was a mercenary in the political thriller Blood Diamond (Edward Zwick, 2006). He received acclaim for his role opposite Jack Nicholson in the crime drama The Departed (Martin Scorsese, 2006). Budgeted at $90 million, the film grossed $291 million and emerged as DiCaprio and Scorsese's highest-grossing collaboration to date. He reunited with Kate Winslet in the romantic drama Revolutionary Road (Sam Mendes, 2008). DiCaprio is the founder of Appian Way Productions—a production company that has produced some of his films and the documentary series Greensburg (2008–2010)—and the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to promoting environmental awareness.
Leonardo DiCaprio continued to collaborate with Martin Scorsese in the psychological thriller film Shutter Island (Martin Scorsese, 2010), based on the novel of the same name by Dennis Lehane. The film was a commercial success, grossing $294 million worldwide. DiCaprio starred in the science fiction thriller Inception (Christopher Nolan, 2010), in which he enters the dreams of others to obtain information that is otherwise inaccessible. DiCaprio earned $50 million from the film, becoming his highest payday yet. He was an executive producer for George Clooney's political drama The Ides of March, an adaptation of Beau Willimon's play Farragut North (George Clooney, 2011) with Ryan Gosling. In 2012, DiCaprio starred as a plantation owner, Calvin Candie, in Quentin Tarantino's Spaghetti Western, Django Unchained (2012). DiCaprio's next role was as the millionaire Jay Gatsby in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby (2013), an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1925 novel of the same name. That year he also starred in the biopic The Wolf of Wall Street (Martin Scorsese, 2013), based on the life of stockbroker Jordan Belfort, who was arrested in the late 1990s for securities fraud and money laundering. The film earned him a Golden Globe and Oscar nominations for Best Actor and Best Picture. DiCaprio was an executive producer on Virunga (Orlando von Einsiedel, 2014), a British documentary film about four people fighting to protect the world's last mountain gorillas from war and poaching. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. In 2015, DiCaprio produced and played fur trapper Hugh Glass in Alejandro G. Iñárritu's survival drama The Revenant. Built on a budget of $135 million, the well-received film earned $533 million worldwide. The film earned him numerous awards, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, a SAG and a Critic's Choice Award for Best Actor. For the next three years, DiCaprio narrated documentaries and served as a producer for films. DiCaprio returned to acting following a break of four years in Quentin Tarantino's comedy-drama Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), opposite Brad Pitt. He received nominations for an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA Award for Best Actor. The film earned a total of $374 million against its $90-million budget. DiCaprio's personal life is the subject of widespread media attention. He rarely gives interviews and is reluctant to discuss his private life. Among his former girlfriends are Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen, Israeli model Bar Refaeli, and German model Toni Garrn.

FCN636F was a Leyland Leopard PSU3/4R / Alexander Y Type C47F new to Northern General Transport (2636) in 1968. On disposal it passed to Marbill of Beith, and is seen on a football hire . Marbill was a recent creation at the time. The company had operated as Jackson's of Beith, and had agreed terms to sell out to Margo of London. It was alleged that the money was never paid and Margo was involved in various fraud trials. William Jackson (BILL) was joined by daughter Margaret (MAR) and they combined names to form MARBILL.

I first reported this fake Instagram account using my photos on December 19, 2022. It is STILL up, and STILL using my photos. I am at a loss what to do.
completely gutted, burnt-out car shell, its metal rusted and warped by intense heat. It sits abandoned on the Liverpool loopline AKA the ralla, a skeleton of its former self. The dog’s vibrant energy and open-mouthed "smile" create a sharp juxtaposition against the cold, dead machinery beneath its paws.
All this talk of boater fraud is very worrisome to me....so I AM registering to boat, becoming an educated boater so I can boat responsibly....If only dumb people boat, the ballast will get all messed up and no one will be able to cast a boat at all!
Evil Big Brother is spraying your chilfren & babies & YOU with scores of toxins. THIS IS FIRST AMENDMENT COMMENTARY based on empirical evidence.
Claims of massive fraud and corruption in the recent American election are still believed by millions of voters. Missing, unfortunately, was credible evidence in the dozens of lawsuits that were rejected by the courts and electoral officials.
After a preliminary investigation, I have uncovered a crooked, duplicitous vermin who has mickey-moused with the sanctity of the election.
This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera and KOWA LENS-S 1:3.5/150 lens attached to a T/1 extension tube (75mm) with a Kowa L39•3C(UV) ø67 filter using Kodak Portra 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitalized using Photoshop.
(Project 365 Day 314)
Today I fell for a phishing scam. :( A friend of mine sends me a link via Yahoo IM asking me to check out some geocities link. I click on it, and I get a Yahoo 360 sign-in page. "Strange that you'd need to sign in to see a geocities page, but Yahoo does own geocities, and I haven't been there in a while," I think.
So I put in my username/password and just get a Yahoo 360 homepage. Weird. I IM my friend to ask what the deal is, but he doesn't reply. I'm in the middle of working, so I quickly get distracted by other duties and don't think about it much.
A while later, I get a reply from my friend, along the lines of, "Huh?" Turns out he never sent me the link! "Crap!" I think. "I'm a doofus! I just fell for a phishing scam!" My friend had gotten the same link from one of HIS friends, and so I bet the bad guys have a program that recorded his password when he typed it into that bogus page, then logged in to his Yahoo IM account and spammed it to everyone on his buddy list.
It's quite insidious, because you're tempted to trust links your friends send you, and because this doesn't require any spyware on your computer; it's all done over the web.
So again, people, don't be an idiot like me. Think twice before putting your password in a page that asks for it!
Oh, and needless to say, I immediately reported the page to Yahoo (and it's been taken down now), changed my Yahoo password, and then changed the password in the various other places I use that same password, just in case. I also emailed everyone in my Yahoo IM buddy list to warn them, just in case my account sent them the bogus URL, too. Pain in the ass.

Look! That's not Steve Austin! It's Maskatron!
In 1976 Kenner released this robotic master-of-disguise action figure as a foil for the Six Million Dollar Man. It came with three masks, including one that looked like the actor Lee Majors who played Steve Austin on the TV series.

Beauty isn't a performance, we don’t twerk for a cause.
We rise in solidarity. United strength changes laws.
Power is in the spirit, in the mind, in the soul.
Power is not in how many body parts one can grab,
and hold.
If you want to be respected, know that your body is
not a commodity. And yes, you should be proud of
your beauty. But don’t let it go to your head. We don’t
forge a path forward, by offering ourselves in bed.
And i bet she got them flavors. I bet her twerk is mean.
But them things ain’t for everybody spending money
on the scene. And sure you ain’t trying to lay up, and
stay up with a broke lover. But you don’t truly love
yourself if for money you under covers. You up under
them sheets, thinking like street walkers in the streets.
And you thinking that you hot. You like men that
carry heat? And what you going to say when you
find that you lost your way? When you finally meet
God because you got shot in the face? You got that
lingerie? It look hot on you today! But are you really
safe, running around with your lace. Sure he down to
ride, until he start to catch a case. You certain that he
love you? Or that he might lay your body to waste?
Don’t waste… time. Elevate your mind. You can be
intelligent, pursue your own wealth, and stay fly.
Yeah, you look fine. But don’t let your looks mess
with your mind. Sure; you can be captivating.
Hear what i’m saying. It’s your ass at the party! It’s
your ass he displaying. But you still having fun.
Everything seems right. You got your man, got your
money, got your car, got your hype! But you influencing
others to follow in your path. The dark night of the soul…
will be the aftermath. You see, there is always, the one.
The one that is on the prowl, the one that wants to see
you lead astray. Away from God’s love as soon as… now!
Away from God’s gifts. And you don’t believe it, because
you can’t see it? But, what you can see… is the comedy and
the tragedy! The industry, the entertainment, and the system…
that ultimately causes many to fall. Open your eyes to the
scheme of it all. See where humanity is meant to fail.
See that the more you lose your way, the more that others
rise. It is a power dynamic playing out right before your
eyes. Men are dying, women are dying, because of the
images we choose to lift up and project. Are these images
showing the strength of our ancestors, our people, or
neglect? What is true wealth and where does it come from?
First off, true wealth is knowing that love isn’t for sell.
True wealth is individual growth, mental growth, spiritual
growth, physical growth, family growth. And… financial
growth, yes, but not growing financially while selling your soul.
You see, the goal is for you to lose your way, and forget.
This truth is hidden deep within the recesses of the spirit
and mind. And it takes true discernment, and pure intentions
to find. And when you seek out money in a way that elevates
it, as more important than considering God. You fall into the lie.
And the truth seems a facade. And so you have a decision to
make in this life. And i suggest you dig deep. Because
discovering the truth when it’s to late… the price to pay is
to steep. And i’m not talking about Hell. I’m talking about
missing a true Heaven. You can get lost from it in your pursuits
of a material life. There are gifts that God is waiting to give
you when you are ready! And the longer you take to get ready,
possibly lifetimes… and the more lost you become and the
more astray you go, the more the gift is lost and the connection
is broken. Seek the power of the truth that is always spoken!
Your breasts, like pearls. Your body brings ecstasy. This gift
is meant to parallel the feeling of Heaven and it is a gift from
God: not meant to be exploited by anybody! Only lost ones,
and dark hearts seek the exploitation of the gifts of the light.
Sex is a gift and God provided it, because God is Love. God
gave the gift of Life. Therefore, God stands Above! Consider
God in all matters. Consider God with Love. You do this, and
you will perceive beings that are of Heaven. This i know to be
True. Then all successes will be in reach, not only financially,
but spiritually. If this is something you don’t care about, than
continue to do you. Just keep in mind that our children's
children will be screwed! Our descendants, always failing!
Why, because if we don’t lead Our people in the “right”
direction, who will? We can lead simply by living decent lives,
and being a positive influence, but instead, we put our bodies
up for give and take. And there’s always people waiting in the
shadows, waiting to point out our flaws, and our mistakes!
We call ourselves goddesses, queens, princesses and more.
So why influence women, and young girls to act like whores?!
This is what some women do! And just because they may be
educated doesn’t make it right. Manipulated, manipulative
fools… Following these self proclaimed so called “Kings” that
exploit you! Notice the relationship drama on television or at
home? Notice the declining importance of life and love, and the
rising importance of primitiveness in relations to sex? Notice
the pain, and needless killings inflicted from one person to
the next. Is your worth really Valued in the world? Products…
of a clever ruse, meant to Stop your peoples Evolution and
cause Your People to Disappear off the face of the Planet,
One by One, and to never discover your gifts from God. This
is the resulting future… of female empowerment fraud.
