Except each pixel has an intensity corresponding to how long the base number could be searched for recursively. White therefore corresponds to loops, or simply long search sequences.

ZEN MAGNETS / NEOBALLS - Neodymium Magnetic Balls (@1111) - Triple Ball Shaped Topiary Tree

@1111 = Zen Magnets(inner framework, pot, trunks) + NeoBalls(soil,leaves)

Challenge was designing the distinctive Topiary balls within the constraints of the framework, getting all polarities to gell, getting NeoBall triangle arcs to not slip out of position due to weaker magnetic strength, getting pot to support/transfer tree weight to base plate, and get it stable w/o falling over.

Primary shapes used were 5-ring hex(risers,C60 ball,trunk,support), 3-ball triangle(top leaves tp trunk), 6-ball triangle(top+side leaves), solid 5-ring pyrimid(pot top section/inverted bottom section), 20-ball ring(pot base)

The Courtyard on Broadway

Casa de Pilatos - Seville, Spain

By McCalister Russell

This photo reminded me that at times the framework is better than the view. While abroad it is always key to capture the breathtaking views. In this photo, I found the framework of these arched windows to be even more amazing than the dark room behind. It was interesting to extrapolate more from this photo and apply it to the broader theme of studying abroad. So much of the country that I experienced was more than the photos and the views, it was about the people, language, food, and customs that made the country unique, not only the amazing things I could ever capture on a camera.

I visited Matthew (who runs Saffron Frameworks) to interview him about frame building and more back in February. The interview will be online soon.

at the Basilique de Saint-Denis (Paris), the french Royal Necropole

from a massive upload of summer photos since I upgraded my account recently

I like the way the beams crisscross and make interesting shapes.

This building is still in its packing material.

Here you can see the timber framework being added to both the walkway and the lift itself.
