In the framework of the National Model United Nations held in Azerbaijan on 20-23 February 2016, the simulation of the UN General Assembly on the case of strengthening of the UN system and reform of its main institutions was organised.
87 people participated in the simulation conference during four days. The sessions were moderated by Azer Abasaliyev and Turkan Mukhtarova. Two draft resolutions were submitted by the member states, one of which sponsored by Canada, Nigeria, France, United Arabic Emirates, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the United States of America, the People's Republic of China, Netherlands, Indonesia and Belgium was adopted by a two-thirds majority. As the result of the game, the participants were awarded with certificates. For their outstanding contribution to the committee the following delegates were awarded at the closing ceremony.

-Etibar Etibarli, the delegation of Nigeria (Best Debater)
-Bahlul Yusifli, the delgation of India (Best Position Paper)
-Gunay Alibayli, the delegation of France (Honorable Mention)
-Daniz Safarova, the delegation of Iran (Honorable mention)
-Faik Isazada, the delegation of Denmark (Honourable Mention)
