Only one of the upsides of studying at the Austrian National Library…

In May I am leaving for California for a week to visit my Cousin. She had a new born baby just last month named Benjamin :)

I wanted to plan my outfits ahead of time so I decided to make some clothing rack dividers to organize my thoughts more. You like?

Sony NEX5 with a 55-210 mm lens, processed with Instagram and Frametastic . Shot at Texas A&M University.

First attempt of one. Combination of two.

Cerca de la oficina de Salva hay una tiendecita súper chula! (mira que he venido veces y la he descubierto hoy).

…making this early morning a little more exciting

The twins were really excited about going to school this morning. They made pirates hats complete with glittered crossbones and they went on a letter treasure hunt and found treasure along the way.

Really nice they got to re-use their Halloween costumes ^___^.

Katrina Kennedy had commented that she'd love to see my setup for my astrophotography, so I took these photos with my iPhone and composited them in Frametastic.

The top left image shows my 60D, Opteka T-Ring, Celestron T-Ring Adapter w/2x Barlow lens, and solar filter.

The top right image shows my 60D with T-Ring and T-Adapter attached.

The bottom image shows the camera with T-Ring and T-Adapter on the camera, all attached to the telescope. To do this, I simply removed the eyepiece and erecting image diagonal mirror, then put the camera in place (screws hold on to the T-Ring Adapter so it does not fall). Not shown is the solar filter capped onto the opposite end of the telescope.

When I did my moon photos, I used the same setup, but without the solar filter. I took photos of the moon both with and without the T-Ring Adapter. When I did not use the T-Ring Adapter, I simply screwed the camera (via the T-Ring) onto the threaded end of the telescope assembly.
