I sanded down the aluminum frames and painted them with Rustoleum Professional Aluminum Primer and then with Rustoleum Professional Aluminum paint.
Over the last year I have collected shells from a shore line here in Adelaide. I got to the beach to remember my mother. When I began this collection, I realised I wanted to display them rather than put in a box. My idea of having some box frames eventually developed in these final products.

embellished with a cameo in fabric with vintage image, obtained by transfer with liquid plaster and finished with cotton dark blue lace.

My last roll of Lomography film had a strange behaviour in the camera. A lot of shots got multiple exposures unintentionally. Nevertheless, I kinda like this shot.

I'm on a mini-vacation with some family of my lady, but they're spending a lot of time watching the Olympics. I can't abide tv or sports, so I've made a bunch of these medieval frames in a new notebook while carrying on other conversations in the kitchen or the porch, away from the living room and the TV.
As you can see from some of them, I plan to put pictures of saints, mystics, and mythical heroes into some of the niches. But I feel like I need to build up some of my skills as a drawer of figures before I fill the frames....
