Paste-up street art by Spraychild, seen on a wall in Manchester, England. The Earth is fragile indeed.
From Fragile, a dance performance by a company called Motion House, in the Merchant City Festival today.
Outside Smogie's Smog Shop in Ventura, CA. Box lid says "fragile".
Voigtlander Bessa-R rangefinder, Fuji Neopan 400, toned in Lightroom (the original wall was red and white). Developed using a 2-bath home-brewed developer (TD-200 from Anchell and Troop). Still fine tuning it though…a little over-developed around the edges.
A dead bee, shot for the latest DPS assignment ("Fragile"). Summer has come to an end and creatures like this have already passed beyond the winter of their lives.
In memory of the glory warm time this year. In my garden I found this lonely rose on a rosebush without leaves. The flower was hanging upside down. So it was protected from first winter frost. I have picked and placed it in a pot where grass grows abnormally green like spring. Now the rose bloom again here. I have placed the camera in a low perspective position. The rain was stooped during my session and the sky becomes brighter. A view into back light make colors fresh. Now I could imagine warm time is here...
my first try with textures...? I am not sure if I like this post processing work.
Inspired by the work from borealnz I used a free to use texture from the group textures4layers
I'm quite OK if my best uncle is not comatosed. I talked with him yesterday he sounded more optimistic than the rest of 2013. Dani's shot. Ignore me and stuff.
Another picture in the series "fragile cage". With the series I want to portray highly sensitivity. We live in a a world that can be overstimulating, and overwhelms highly sensitive persons. Contemplation and nature often helps to recharge.
And this is the main entrance to my favourite section of the Singapore zoo: the Fragile Forest exhibit. (Singapore, Oct. 2009.)

If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one
Drying in the colour of the evening sun
Tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away
But something in our minds will always stay
Perhaps this final act was meant
To clinch a lifetime's argument
That nothing comes from violence
And nothing ever could
For all those born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are
On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star Like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are how fragile we are

Moments of Fragility
Ferocious winds pounding
Rushing, swirling and howling
Chaos viewed with awe, so astounding
Breaking through timber like toothpicks
Moments of fragility
So much like our own hearts
Senses of agility
Shattered realistically
Sweeping away vitality
In a moment's breath
The sheer brutality
Soul and mind left asunder
Even in the face of crime
Wickedness robs integrity
Oh precious is Time
Adhere to all that's meaningful
Such is at an age
To clutch importance
No act upon a stage
Only can you, perform zealously.
