The former Eastman Gelatine plant in Peabody, Massachusetts will close by the end of the year. Owned by Eastman Kodak for 80 year to produce the gelatin to hold the silver halide crystals in film. Kodak sold the plant to Rousselot, a food and pharma company owned by Darling Ingredients. Moving the raw materials to make the Gelatin is one of most unique rail moves in the Boston Area. CSX's former Pan AM BO-1 local heading towards Peabody while crossign Flint Street in Salem.
Part of a mini-series about the cars parked in the streets of Athens neighborhoods. First there was protecting precious status symbols against the hot sun. Then there was keeping an old unused car parked, waiting with the expectation that the government would pay a bonus to their owners to have them withdrawn from circulation. Now, most of the cars covered under a tarpaulin never move; many owners can't afford to pay the road-tax and petrol and are waiting for better days. [rb_140422_00590013.jpg]

I developed 6 B&W films last week and then found another 5 'filed' in the wrong place so you're going to be subject to lots of monochrome for a bit!

Dianna and I took Johanna to a playground, and of course living on the Wet Coast, there was a puddle to play in, and she was splashing in it.
